I feel compelled to write a review for this book because all of the reviews, thus far, are so positive. These same reviews convinced me to buy the book. I feel misled. After two evenings with the book, I've packed it up to send it back to Amazon.

I consider a book valuable under two conditions: (1) it's aesthetically pleasing and/or (2) it contains great insights. This book fits neither criteria. It looks like a word document, printed out and bound at Kinkos. The text is huge and the writing is poor. At one point the author brags that while she wrote her first book in 6 months and her second in 6 weeks, her third book took mere hours. Unfortunately it shows. I also found the information and "insights" in the book tired regurgitations of what's said better elsewhere. Except in this book we have to hear much too much about how skillful the author is in her own business practices.

My main take-away from this book is that the barriers to getting a book published are not nearly as high as I'd imagined. I suppose, in a back-handed way, that is a good lesson to have learned.

There are so many coaching books out there, many well informed with great, implementable insights for new and experienced coaches. With so many to choose from, I do not recommend this one.

Instead, try "The Business and Practice of Coaching: Finding Your Niche, Making Money, and Attracting Ideal Clients".

When I met Milana a few months ago, she told me about her coaching book. I wasn't expecting much, as there were some other books in the field that seemed to encourage the "struggling mindset" that most coaches are mired in.

But I didn't yet know Milana.

Milana's rise as a successful coach is inspiring. Moreover, the book is an exciting read.. laying out in simple step by step fashion EXACTLY how to build a coaching empire.

Even if you think you know business, there plenty to learn from reading "Coaching Millions" and if you are lucky enough to be finding this book just as you are considering adding coaching to your business, you will be blessed with a "Road Map" to a lucrative success.

I'm recommending it to authors and business people on my mailing list and buying several copies to hand out to my coaching students. "Coaching Millions" is a "Must Read"

Milana Leshinky's Coaching Millions is one of the best, most engaging books I read in a long time - and I read a lot of books on marketing and business growth. If you are already a coach, or if you're considering getting into the coaching business, it would be a mistake not to invest a few dollars into this book - because it will give you a step-by-step blueprint for making millions as a coach.

In fact, I believe there are three reasons every coach, consultant, speaker, trainer, or any other professional who considers getting into the coaching business should read this book.

1) This isn't the typical 'join the networking groups' advice. Instead, the book gives detailed explanation of profitable business models used by all successful coaches.

Plus you'll find step-by-step explanations how to use Internet, teleseminars, and information products to profitably promote your coaching services.

2) Coaching Millions is an easy read. The book is written in an easy to follow conversational language and has a very logical flow of topics. But what I liked the most is how Milana injected her personality into the dreaded topic of marketing.

When you read it, you'll forget it's a book and almost have a feeling of sitting across the table from Milana, having a cup of coffee together, and chatting away as she personally coaches you through building a successful business.

3) This book by itself is a masterful example of how each service professional should write their 'credibility business card'. The book is worth buying for this reason alone.

Each professional should have a book that illustrates their expertise, educates readers, and promotes the author's other products and services. And Milana has done an outstanding job modeling how it should be done.

As a marketing expert, over the past few years, I watched Milana Leshinsky masterfully execute and teach effective marketing strategies. Once, after noticing one of her brilliant ideas, I wrote her that I'm `green with envy'. Today, after reading this book, I'm `green with envy' again that she wrote it first! I suggest you buy it right away - it will be one of the best investments in yourself you'll ever make.

This is a very helpful and insightful read. It contains some very useful information for new coaches who are developing their businesses. However, I must be terribly honest. While the content is awesome, it is very apparent that Milana is not a good writer, and it does seem somewhat "rushed." You will encounter very poor editing quality in general. This is constant throughout and can get on your nerves because it is distracting.

However, based upon the actual content presented, I would recommend purchasing this book for the learning opportunity for coaches new to the industry.

And she does go on quite a bit about herself in this book, but I believe this is done so that she can develop rapport with the reader. She wants them to feel that she can relate to what they're experiencing.

Loved this book. I came away loaded with ideas AND concrete steps to take to implement them. Milana's easy-to-follow approach makes it super easy to craft a niche, pick a coaching model for your business, design products for residual income, and move the business of coaching to a whole new level. This book heralds a whole new way to coach that opens doors to many more clients than the old one-to-one coaching model.

I am already half-way through my second read, with highlighter and notebook to take action straight away.

I loved this book. It's a gem. As a SCORE volunteer counselor I regularly look for small business books that talk about how to start a successful coaching business. Up until I read this book my favorite was "Four Steps to Building a Profitable Coaching Practice (ISBN: 0595296602). Now I have two favorites. If you are looking to start a successful coaching business, then I highly recommend you get a copy of both books.

Both books talk about the importance of creating a program so you have a product to sell. People generally don't buy coaching services without having already sampled a product that the coach has authored. The idea is that coaching clients will devour the coach's product or products and ultimately want some one-on-one instruction. It's when the clients seek the personal instuction that the coach starts making money as a coach.

In Coaching Millions the author points out eloquently that successful coaches start out selling products online. They start by selling an ebooklet or ebook or even a regular book. When they find a winner that sells, then they build a "program" around it. You know, the kind of program that has books, cassette tapes or audio CDs. Maybe a DVD video would be included. They sell such a program for a couple hundred dollars or more. If sales for that product take off, then they ultimately will get people calling them for personal coaching services.

The author in this book explains how this all works. There is really a goldmine of information contained in this book. I have recommended this book to a number of my SCORE clients already. And I expect I will be recommending it to many more in the foreseeable future. Milana is someone I have watched over the years and benefited from virtually. This weekend I attended her first annual Coaching Super Summit and was blown away by how much information we recieved to move us into 7 figure coaching. I read her book in the week leading up to the summit and I can tell you that this book is a condensed version of her blueprint to success.
The content is all valuable and I believe without a doubt that this is a priceless work for those of us in coaching no matter what level you are at.
Follow Milana and find your personal gold.

I was still being coached myself so I didn't think I could actually be a coach, but after reading the book, I thought, why not just try and see how hard it would be to get clients. I emailed to my elite marketing consulting clients and got over 70% signing on to try me out! The really funny part is I was already doing goal setting and time management (4HWW Tim Ferriss style) with them because they needed it so badly. Now I just formalized it and billed them for the time! I did my coaching lessons straight out of a great book I found, complete with self assessment quizes etc. It's added about 20% to my income and I love the work!

Earlier this year I attended an event of Milana's and knew her book was in the works. After previewing part of one chapter, I was anticipating it's release to find out more details, more depth. And now that I've read it I am more impressed than ever. Her information is practical, provides a framework for the importance of the steps she is introducing, and includes excellent examples of the points she is making. I just returned from her first Coaching Super Summit where I can see the principles she is working with will serve me not only as I learn to grow into a new business model, but will continue to provide value as that model evolves over the years to come. I predict this book will become a classic! Enjoy.
