5.0 out of 5 stars The Coaching Book You've been Looking For, April 28, 2008
This review is from: Coaching in Organizations: Best Coaching Practices from The Ken Blanchard Companies (Hardcover)
I am in awe. I have read most coaching books as the topic ressonates with who I want to be: someone who unleashes the greatness in others. The author's deep wisdom about all aspects of coaching permeates Coaching in Organizations and will help individual coaches as well as organizational champions of coaching achieve the results and impact they are looking for. The stories woven throughout make this book readable and relevant. The plethora of inviting strategies and Best Coaching Practices invited me to put on my coaching hat and go unleash the potential and power of everyone in my organization. If you ever wanted to buy a book that has it all..truly, this is the one for you. What a gift.

5.0 out of 5 stars Kudos!, November 21, 2008

Madeleine Homan and Linda Miller have given us their best. This book is as critical to great organizational coaching as is Peter Block's Flawless Consulting to consulting. The 'Making It Real' sections woven thoughout provide thought-provoking questions which, if utilized, would absolutely impact the success factor. The application tools partnered with coaching theory = a definitive resource. I especially appreciated the 'measuring success' chapter, such a critical deliverable in the coaching profession. This excellent resource should be required for all organizational coaching curricula. Thank you for sharing your rich knowledge and resources!

I'm very pleased with Coaching In Organizations. It's direct, easy to understand and follow, yet filled with great information and wisdom. I especially like the Coaching Skills and Techniques section, which gives guidance on how to create a coaching culture in any organization. Well worth the time to read.
