Coaching in the Clutch may very well be my favorite of the 3 'Clutch' books. Brad Bauer's writing is completely engaging. I bought it on my Kindle after reading the first two books earlier throughout the last month, and I consistently found myself sneaking peeks at my Android Kindle app at work or at a red light to just read a day or two of Clutch's adventures. I don't want to spoil anything by saying which parts of the book in specific I liked the most, but I will say that Clutch is definitely feeling nostalgic in this book. It definitely feels very similar to the first two books (in a good way obviously).
Unspoilerly - I will say that some of the best parts are the italicized 'flashback' entries, that show some of Clutch's unused entries from the past books, or from times that wouldn't fit in the books. I like how they give some insight on the past, i.e. what happened after the end of Homering, and the stuff with Coach Kenny, etc.
Best trilogy ever!
I will say one more thing, if Brad Bauer ever reads this... I want career stats for Clutch! I know there are some in the book, but I want year-by-year stats because that's how awesome Clutch has become, I'm that involved.
