I have two of these headsets. One that I have used for over two years now for my daily bike commute, and the other that I use for running at night. These headsets have seen it all (rain, snow, many dark rides as I commute in at 3:30AM, and many battery changes as I use rechargeable) and both units have performed beautifully. I have used other LEDs with multiple bulbs that are not nearly as bright. I have also spent six times as much for an HID unit that is much brighter, but also much heavier and burned out after only 100 hours of use. After all is said and done, this unit is the winner.
