The Coast LL7526 V16 White Pen Light has been one of my favorite new purchases. It does have two batteries that are Li/3V that can apparently be purchased through jewelry stores and even Walmart. The light is LED which is supposed to last 100,000 hours. I am a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and use this light to clip onto a wooden tongue blade to inspect mouths and throats of little ones. It frees up my second hand to be able to hold the child's head more easily if needed, and because it's so small, its seems to be less threatening to the children. I plan to purchase a couple more, so that I always have one in my pocket!

This flashlight is well designed and produces virtually no heat, so you could carefully wear it behind the ear the way engineers hold pencils. Sometimes useful to free both hands.

It's small so you can put it in your bag or purse and forget about it - until you need it. The light is bright enough to be useful.

It can be helpful for inspecting small components, for use in power cuts, and for an increased sense of security.

After testing it, I bought two more. Its slick design makes for a nice gift.

Extremely light weight and very bright. It is hard to describe how thin, light and small it is - but it provides enough light to defintely walk in a campground at night. It does not however have the range to spotlight something in a tree. The light is almost perfectly diffused and it is what i was looking for to read directions or a map in my car. I can't see any artifacts of a reflector in the beam. It is so nice and uniform. It is very nice.

but the batteries cost as much as the light, and you cant find them.

This is a great little light to inspect bores of firearms as well as anywhere else you need a powerful light weight light in the dark. I would appreciate receiving feedback on where I can buy batteries for it.

This light is small, high tech and has a feel of quality. Also, it's brighter than I expected. I bought one (1) and showed it to my family, now I have to buy four (4) more. I think this little light is great. It's definitely desires a 5 star rating.

Excellent light, I keep one in my car at all times. BTW, pay no attention to reviewer telling you that LEDs don't need batteries, this person is clearly a grade-A moron. Perhaps their flashlight runs on stupidity, I don't know but, for the record, it takes a 3V Lithium battery (BR435).

As a big hairy nurse, I need something thats a little better fit in my paw. Too fine. I could put someones eye out with the intensity of this light. Great for seeing in the dark and roadside emergencies. Great for the guys doing maintanence in the hospital but not the nurses or EMS folks doing those neuro checks.

Best pen light yet! Very bright and easy to carry in your shirt pocket. Pocket clip holds well so it won't fall out. Batteries are wierd so pick up a few spares as they are not readly available where normal batteries are sold. Most computer stores have them and they are available online.

Given to me as a gift: slick package, a very small and lightweight smaller-than-a-penlight. i've used this on rounds at the hospital, but a few issues: 1) the batteries are not long lived, and tend to get drained, in addition the screw down mechanism to turn off the light is not very reliable (ie it is loose and easy to leave on/flickering) 2) the batteries are pin type 3V BR435 which are a pain to find. Also, I recently replaced them from a seller on ebay, and these are reversed in polarity from the Coast batteries (+ at the pin end) and do not fit properly. These issues offset the cool look of the pen, and practicality would seem to prevail. I would recommend something that takes an AAA battery that is easy to replace, especially if u use it as often as I would. Also the light is not very bright and somewhat bluish in tint.
