Key chain lights used to be so simple: bulb, battery, protective casing. Not so with the V1 Moon Lenser, a German-engineered light that uses Led-Lenser technology to burn brighter and with better energy efficiency. Employing a state-of-the-art computer diode design, the V1 Moon Lenser features a photon tube reflector that provides a bright solid spot beam. These torches are up to 10 times as bright as conventional flashlights, and the batteries last up to 10 times longer. The light burns cold rather than hot, so it's safer to handle and conserves heat energy. In addition, it runs for 300 hours without a battery change. And the battery is the only thing you'll have to change, as the V1 Moon Lenser doesn't take traditional bulbs that are prone to burnout. Not too shabby for a key chain accessory.

I thought that I might use this as a makeshift AF illuminator for some of my point and shoot cameras that have trouble focusing in low-light situations. To be honest I haven't tried it for that purpose yet. However, this is obviously a stylish, compact, and powerful item of quality-build and I give it 5 stars based on those characteristics.

It operates using 4 "LR44" (also known as "AG13") type batteries which are not hard to find when the time comes to replace them; they are inserted via the bottom of the thing, where the chain attaches - just unscrew.

A neat thing you can do is reverse the clip and then attach the light to the bill of your cap so you are "hands-free" if you need to be.

The only complaint might be that the on-off button is somewhat difficult to "mash" on and off; but all in all this key chain light is well worth having. I give it Five stars!

All those little lites that use the AA bateries that you put on your key chain are dim, in comparison to this little beauty, literaly.

It is compact Relativly light weight and makes a bright circle of light for what ever need you have. It has tremendous battery life and can come in handy in many situations. Use it around the house, or anywhere else because its small and compact. Also durable and don't worry about it getting just a little wet in the rain because thats not likly to hurt it too much. Also when you drop your keys and the parking lot and the flashlight breaks it bulb well won't happen with this wonderful little gadget it's bulb will last longer than you will and its shock resistant as well.

This little flashlight is gorgeous and is almost all I could want in a tiny flashlight. But I have it on my key ring in my pocket and the little rubber button switch comes off and eventually gets lost. It could have a better switch.
