I have another flashligts, like maglite and toologic, but when you try this one, no one can compares, it's a lot brigther than the others, when you put a maglite 4D with a luxeon bulb and the coast together you can notice the diference, the coast is like three to four times more brigth than the other competitors, buy this flashlight its the best.

This light competes very well with Surefire lights [I have both kinds]. The Coast light - this particular model - is not their most powerful version [my Surefire top-line bulb system is brighter] but the great advantage is that this little light puts out a terrific beam and uses AAA batteries available almost everywhere. Surfire lights use only Surefire batteries. I highly recommend this light.

I got this to mount to my Mossberg Persuader. I used the NC Star Universal Mount and it went right in with just a little wiggling. The light is super bright and it is not a torch type light either. It emits a high powered beam that will light up anything you point it at even pretty far away. This is probably one of the best lights I own. Looks real good mounted to my shotgun.

This flashlight also only uses 3 AAA so it is a huge plus. It also comes with a nice case and a string that attaches to it to wrap around your hand if need be or hang it up.

I have several other LED flashlights: Fenix, Surefire, Streamlight, Pelican, etc. Originally bought one of these last Christmas (2010) to mount on my Mossberg 500, (w/pressure switch) but decided to go with a Streamlight TLR2 - and gave the light to my son (it comes in a nice box). He loves it - I was impressed as well and really like the 3 AAA batteries vice the CR123's which the Fenix/Surefire/Streamlight use (had a hard time finding them in some "remote locations"...) - so I just purchased another one. The reflector on the new one appears to have been slightly modified and the light is even brighter! Light output just slightly less than my Fenix TK10 (but the center beam/side beam pattern is not as "clean" as the Fenix) - so while I may keep the Fenix handy for "tactical" work - this Lenser is my go-to flashlight for all other flashlight use. For the money (including long-term costs of putting batteries in it) probably the best flashlight currently on the market.

I've owned this flashlight since early 2007. (it's now 12/2010) I bought it for use as a cable & audiovisual installer. The beam is bright and adjustable (narrow to wide). I can shine it in the tops of trees at night spotting owls and it will light up the entire top of a tree 150'-200' away. The battery life is remarkable. One night I was working in the ceiling at a college installing speakers and left it up in the drop ceiling on a tile ON. I came back the next night searching for my $50 flashlight and had no problem locating it: it was still burning bright. Hallelujah! The materials, build quality, fit & finish are absolutely top shelf. There is no room for improvement, IMHBAO.

12/28/2011 - I use this flashlight all the time and it is STILL going strong.

Purchased for an AR-15 with a low power tactical scope mounted on it. The lens on the flashlight has a magnifier/focus bubble on the front which really throws the light. Looking through the scope with the flashlight turned on, I could easily sight a target at 80-100 yards. This little light packs a lot of punch. Easily better than tac lights I've looked at which cost 2-3x++ more. Excellent product.

As one of the reviews pointed out, it does not fit "standard" 1 inch mount,........... here, a standard is the problem because for rest of the world standard means METRIC.

This light has what appears to be 26 mm outside diameter, I have it mounted in a, guess what ,....... a "standard" 1 inch offset mount, it works just fine when you orient the two flats on the flashlight body in line with screws of the mount, this prevents binding and the extra thickness of .023 of an inch is not a problem, flats allow the clamp to flex as screws are tightened, just stop before you strip the threads, there is no need for over tightening.

Few months after I bought this flashlight, beam of light is still bright and blinding in the dark, I can light up entire driveway and that's pretty darn good for 3 AAA batteries.

Planning to buy another one soon, the performance is outstanding for the price, quality build is evident in every aspect, comes with belt holder and is worth the money compared to similar flashlights in my local retail stores.

I give it 4 stars because it's not perfect and 1 inch "standard" should be supplied to US market rather then standard.

If you plan on mounting this to a rifle, buy mount that is split in two equal parts and has two screws on each side like a scope ring, the one piece mounts of 1 inch diameter will not fit.

I bought this light for my husband as a gift to use around the house. We both love the light, it is the best that we have bought. It is amazing how clear and far the light shines with just 3 AAA's. But the best thing is that one of the kids dropped the light and broke the lens in it. I called the customer service number on the box, expecting to shell out some money to buy a replacement. The wonderful lady on the phone didn't even ask what happened she just asked for my address and a couple of days later a new lens was in the mail. It turned out to be the wrong sized one. So I called the wonderful customer service lady again, and this time they sent the whole top part of the flash light to replace it. Not one question asked. I am so amazed! They were such a great company to deal with. I have been looking for more of their products just because of the service.

If your looking for a Compact Handheld or Gunmounted Led bright spotlight with AAA batterys this one is the best. Ive owned it for almost five years it still works as good as new with a rough life. The optic lens on this will put out a perfect circle at a long range and will not scratch easy like others . I paid the full sixty-five for mine and if I had to replace it I would buy another. It outshines all other standard 1.5 volt battery Led Flashlights with a focused spot.

All other flashlights I now throw away. There is only room for one flashlight in my life now. This one is bright, this one has run for two years with the original batteries and is still going strong. Other flashlights are a waste of money. If you want to see in the dark, get this flashlight - wallah! - it is no longer dark and you can see close or for great distance. It is amazing. I can't think of all the advantages at one time, but also, it is small and fits easily into coat pocket, where I carry mine. I just bought two more for my other coats. You will not want to be without one.
