This book contains beautifully composed and skillfully taken photographs of the coast of Maine, and the reproduction (quality of printing) is unusually fine. So often, such photographs when published, turn out too dark of of too high contrast, so that one might wish to view them on a brightly-lighted screen instead; not so with this book. The reproductions are of excellent quality. A nice addition to any "coffee-table" collection.

Carl's book on The Maine Coast is full of great shots. I took the book along on a trip up the Maine coast to just give me a few ideas of things to see. Full of photos and a nice addition to coffee table books of great Maine coastal water.

This is a small book in size, but the photographs are still
outstanding. This would be a great gift for lovers of Maine, both
for those who have visited, and for those who plan a future trip.

I love this book. Absolutely beautiful pictures. Carl Heilman did a wonderful job. If you have never been to Maine and are planning a future trip , this book is a great introduction to the state of Maine.
