This is an excellent book for the avid diver, fisherman, itchthyologist and fish lover. The idex system is very user friendly and greatly assist in the identification of the species you are after. The photos are all taken in their natural habitat and serve as an excellent example for divers, although fisherman and non-divers may find them slightly dull in colour. Special care has been taken to ensure that scientific names are correct (and the latest), but the general common names are not always the most commonly used or appropriate ones. The book is one of the most extensive examples available and highly recommendable. The printing quality is very good and the high price tag can be justified. (P.J.
