I saw another review for this product that mentioned having problems when using it in a late model Dodge Challenger. I installed this in my own 2012 Challenger with the 430 RBZ radio and it works perfectly. All dip switched were already set to where I needed them, it was simply a matter of pulling the radio (one trim panel, then 4 screws), plug the Lockpick in between your radio and the vehicle harness, then hide hte excess cable behind the glove compartment. You do need to power up the radio and wait a minute or two to allow the device to unlock the features for your car, but after that its all right there. I have a rear and front camera installed, and they work perfectly using this device.

Arrived on time and packaged all right. If you go on a Jeep form they will tell you how to take your dash off so you can plug the Lockpick in. It very easy. My Lockpick arrived with just a short wire to wire into your backup light. What you want to do is run this wire up to the Lockpick unit witch has a plugin for it. This way you can turn on the backup camera any time you want besides having it come on when in reverse. The camera I used is also from Amazon, HDE E336 Waterproof Backup Camera with 170 degree viewing angle for only around $14.

Works perfect on my 2013 Jeep Wrangler. Unlocks keyboard input in motion, DVD video in motion, and allows adding of backup camera and other cameras if desired. I purchased this to unlock the keyboard and DVD in motion, as well as add a backup camera because of the limited visibility behind it. Very happy with the product so far.

EDIT: I have moved my review down to one star. The unit died less than a month after purchase, and this was the second unit to die on me. Had to struggle with seller for a refund, but finally got my money back. I switched over to the NavTV AllGig and it has been flawless since.

It works fine but you dont get the cabling that it shows in the picture which includes audio and video connections, the connections on the cabling included only have video. Had I known this I would have gotten the product elsewhere.

Bought to install in a 2011 dodge ram laramie, fairly easy installation, 2 screws to remove from the top of the centre console, had to pop off the bezel around the inverter socket as there's a screw hidden there, also had to remove the trim around the shifter console by prying up gently with a thin flat screwdriver to release the clips, then a couple more screws under the rubber mat. Once things were loose, centre console popped off easily, 4 screws to remove the radio and simply plug and play in the connectors. The harness looks bulky, but tucked fairly easily into the internals of the console and I was able to set the lockpick on the floor at the bottom inside. Reverse instructions for reinstall action of centre console. All in all took about maybe 20min once I figured out where the screws were, and the clips. Unlocked the video on the move and changing destinations, only thing is the speed on the nav now remains 0 all the time, I guess that's how it fools the system for unlock, maybe with a future update they may find a way round it.

It worked as described, the only reason I give it a 4 star instead of a 5 star is although every function is now unlocked, the speedometer on the gps no longer works. I want the other functionality more then I need that so overall it was a great purchase.

2009 dodge challenger install. This product has poor tech support via email, you have to try to get someone on the phone. Their web site is not good considering they are tech people, its need brought up to 2014 standards, they could cut their tech calls in half if the website was easy to navigate and informative.

This product works great as a rear backup camera. The video resolution is low because it is a analog input for the backup camera and iPhone/ipod movie input. Needs a HD input and it would be awesome. In manual transmission cars you have to go through a reset sequence with the power button to get the video to display while in motion, this process has to be done every time you start watching a video, its sorta a pain, apparently this is not a issue in Automatic trans cars. I have noticed a bug where the satellite radio stations can get hung on one station and not change when you select another, shutting off the radio or car seems to solve this issue, again sorta another pain. The install directions are amateurish, generic and need updated for individual models. Install is easy, anyone can handle this install by themselves. It a product thats close to being good, but needs the rough edges polished off. And again it needs a High Def video input.

Not ready for prime time. This device lasted barely over a month before it's operations became erratic. Viewing video while in motion was hit or miss, putting the transmission in reverse used to display the rear camera and that became intermittent and occasionally would switch to the camera by itself. Support is near nonexistent - calling their support number goes to an "answering service" where your contact details are provided and you get to sit around the phone most of the day for a call that never occurs. E-mailing support doesn't provide much luck, they just tell you to call. I finally was able to reach someone and they pointed fingers and everything else but their product....bad camera, bad camera install, bad radio, bent pins on factory harness, bad harness from Jeep. They do not perform any warranty or RMAs (CoastalETech) - instead you have to contact your seller who has to act on your behalf to request a replacement. I have a friend who also has this device easily mounted in their glovebox via velcro. It was easy for me to determine my unit was bad. The case that supports the internals of the MyGig is very flimsy and the documentation is very generic and could be much better. When the device works, it works great...but when it fails don't count on support to be of any real help. I wouldn't recommend this device.
