I had some space in my kitchen for an Island and used this instead. I love it! It is great that you can put two chairs on one side and and one on either side so I have space to stand in front of my 4 kids while I serve them food. I am going to get another stool so I can sit with them. The size is quite nice I can fit all my small food platters on the table. I can also fit a napkin holder salt pepper shakers and a nice slim vase with flowers. The chairs are comfy and easy to clean. I didn't put it together but my dad did it pretty easily. I gave it four stars because I don't know how long it will it last.

Beware of this dining table. The top's finish is poor quality. My table top only lasted little over a year. It bubbled up and cracked open - looks terrible! No customer service on this problem either. Very Poor Quality!!!!!

Great table, comfortable well made chairs. The table is perfect island height, and could be used as an extension if the widths are close. I bought additional matching chairs as well.

Nice set, but I had to call in twice to send a table top that was not damaged. Ended up with three table tops total. Table top did not come in a box. Got stuck with two damaged table tops after company told me they would mail me a box to return two damaged table tops. Go figure.

Although there was an abundance of plastic film wrapping material, the table top was scratched, missing paint and chipped at the edges. Due to the puzzle like packaging, one must destroy the original packaging in order to see and assemble the product. The chairs went together easily and are very sturdy and comfortable (I'm ignoring the imperfect gluing spots) although the table is very wobbly and the top was very damaged. One place looked like it had either glue or paint remover that had bubbled the paint. The corners had the paint missing as did some of the edge area. Scratches are very visible on the gloss black surface.
