First off, the set looks much bigger in the picture. To help you get a mental picture, when I place all four place mats on the table, (standard size place mats,) they slightly overlap. The instructions were a little cheap, and one small washer was missing, and the seats must be drilled on, NOT screwed on, but otherwise I rate it a 3. Probably a perfect table for some, but I was looking for something a little larger! Worth more like $225 for sure.

This beautiful dining set is even more lovely than appears online. It is quite sturdy and the perfect size for my small apartment dining area. The vendor - Home and Living - is the most customer friendly company. Despite their excellent wrapping job, the tabletop arrived damaged. Home and Living immediately shipped a new one and arranged for FedEx to pick up the damaged one - no questions, no hassles, nothing but courtesy and friendliness.

I bought this set thinking that I could save some money with this purchase. Unfortunately that was not the case. Where to start.... lets see, the item came in destroyed, the way the item is packaged is not proper to prevent damage to to the product. The main table had two corners pretty damaged and one of the main planks was completely torn off the screws, this causing damage to the bottom of the table.

Dealing with the return of the table is something that is almost unthinkable, the box weights a lot and to repackage the item is a pretty time consuming process. Not to mention to drop it off on UPS location or ensure that you are home for the item pickup. Just a lot of time and money. The box was unusable (either UPS destroyed it or amazon warehouse shipped it like that) so I was required to buy another box and then be refunded for it. Again more time, money and gas, so I decided to keep the table and try to fix it, amazon did help me some, but now that I see the table assembled I think I should of gotten more in return. Just too much work and every time I look at the table I can't help it to feel really frustrated for the transaction. I guess that is sorta

Another concerning issue is that you will need some kind of glue to complete the proper installation, the chairs were not designed properly and they require a lot of extra work. They are also uneven you will need to either sand some of the leg or buy chair stops of different heights, the product just does seem solid, not even at this price point.

This is probably the frustrating purchase I ever done with amazon, I hope they keep providing me with good service like in the past. It's kinda sad because I I have only good things to say about amazon, i guess there is always a first time for everything.

It's a good table for the price. No more, no less. It looks nice, fairly easy to assemble. The shipping was a little slow... close to 3 weeks. Just an fyi, I weigh about 225, the chairs are reasonably sturdy, but I would question their ability to withstand continued use from someone 250+ lbs. But like I said, I think they'll be fine for me.

Pros: relatively sturdy. Looks nice. Not made of particle board, like other tables in this price range. If you need a small kitchen table for a small space that looks decent, this is the table for you.

Cons: arrived with a corner cracked off. Hardware bag broken, and had to scour the two enormous boxes for missing pieces. Not all chairs sit evenly on the floor (even when assembled correctly) so there is some rocking (not onerous, but still there). Also, no pre-drilled holes in the chair seat in which to attach screws.

I have no complaints about this table. It complimented my dining room area perfectly. The color, finish, and sturdiness were surprisingly impressive. It was relatively easy to put together as well. The building instructions for the chairs were kind of off; however, it was not an issue. I absolutely recommend this table if it matches your style.

Dining room table arrived on the 23rd, not on the 22nd as promised, tracking number did not work properly, husband had to assist fedex delivery person to bring item inside. Photo does not show how small this item really is. Color description was a way off as the brown is very bright. Contemplating on selling it to a coworker and just using Craigslist to find a bigger table if I'm going to fork out $300 and still have to carry it myself. Not impressed at all with this item.

I was quite surprised that the set was of such high quality...I did have to hire a handyman to put it together.....it's quite nice and i'm very pleased.

I recieived a broken table top three months ago. Still not resolved after calling both Amazon and the Furniture place at least 20 times. I have Multiple Sclerosis and this has made things so hard. I justed asked for a replacement....that's all...NOT A REFUND!!!!!!
