the desk was delivered within the promised time (3 day delivery window, and a 4 hour drop off window the day you choose to have them deliver it - you'll get a phone call to call back to set up drop off), and it is of OK quality (older type joints, not modern drawer pulls, just old fashioned wood tracks). It is made of soft and hard wood, but the overall look of the desk is great. Easy to put together, lots of trash from the packing material, but that is probably a good thing, no obvious scratches or dents, it was in great shape when delivered. you will need 2 people to pull it in the house (drop shipped at the sidewalk) and 2 to set it up.

This Coaster traditional style home office writing desk is awsome! I love it!! The wood is true hardwood and looks like it is antique. It was easy to put together except heavy to move. Came packaged secure and only needed to add the legs to put the desk together. It was wider than my door entrance so that was a bit difficult but well worth the work. I highly recommend this writing desk and feel it is an added piece to any office/home.

Beautiful wood desk, well built except, they used cheap wood guides for the drawers, thus the drawers slide poorly with friction. Twenty to thirty dollars additional manufacturing cost to add roller guides would have made this a 5 star desk.
