First off, the desk is 104 pounds when packaged. Keep this in mind when you are ordering it; plan ahead. Included in this weight, which is entirely understandable considering the large size/wood construction, is about 5 pounds of packing tape and other excessive cardboard. Nonetheless, beware of the very large and cumbersome package, in case you forget to think about that.
Unboxing the desk, it comes in 3 main parts, the desk top, which already has the leaves and pullout keyboard tray thing installed. It's about 75% of the total weight, so be careful. Aside from that you have the 4 legs and the 2 wood bars that connect the legs. Setup is easy, except for the fact that the hardware they provide is cheap as I've ever seen. 3 out of 4 of those things you stick a screw into and turn to lock shattered while turning. Literally, they shattered and just fell all over the place. It was unbelievable. I was forced to just kinda forgo these locks and just use the pressure induced from the legs being bolted in place properly. Hopefully they last while I look for some spares from all the ikea furniture I have lying around.
Now that it's setup, it's a great looking desk, provides ample workspace, and seems pretty sturdy, despite the previously mentioned failings.
TL;DR -- It's heavy, comes with cheap hardware, but still looks real nice once you set it up.
