First of all let me tell you the frames on these chairs are not "Silver" they are painted 'Gray' with a poly coat. My wife and I purchased a new Table with a chrome base and the Chairs did not match. The Frames of the chairs are good quality material and so are the leather seat and back. The problem you will have on the assembly is the poor craftsmanship on the drilling and alignment of the holes to connect the leather back. If you have another person to help, you might get 3 out of the 4 holes to align without striping a bolt. There is another craftsmanship issue with the assembly of the leather seat. The hole for the threaded insert (keensert) were drilled to deep in about 2/3 of the holes. With extra pressure you can get a thread to catch and tighten, but on one of mine, the hole was just too deep. I have to go the Home Depot to get a longer bolt for that hole. After assembly you have a beautiful set of Gray and Black leather Chairs for a Good Price.

I ordered 8 of these and am pretty happy with the purchase. What can I say, for about $50 a piece, it's the best bang-for-the-buck you can find for something that looks this good.

Pros:
- All of the parts were there to the exact number which was refreshing.
- The chairs are sturdy and are leather.
- Price was very affordable.
- They look great.

Cons:
- Pretty tedious to put together with so many bolts, nuts, and washers. You should use the right drill-bit head with a power drill to install because it will take you 5 times longer to use their supplied allen wrench. It took me about 10 mins to put each chair together by myself once I got going.
- Some of the seats and the back have permanent indentations which CANNOT be fixed so all of the surface is not smooth. I would say this happened to about 20 % of the inventory. This is a manufacturing problem and not a shipping problem because the shipping was well packed.

Get ready to do a lot of cleanup because the boxes are packed with styrofoam so you will have thousands of little white popcorn foam everywhere.

We now have 12 of these beautiful contemporary black leather dining chairs. Four are in the kitchen around a large rectangular glass table and the other eight are in the dining room around a large round black glass table. They are elegant. They are nicely crafted and were not difficult to put together. I think they should last a long time.
Additionally, the customer service is great! One little foot was missing and was sent immediately to us.

I was reluctant to order these after reading some of the other reviews about the difficulty assembling them. I am so glad I went with my gut feeling and got them. They arrived fast in 2 boxes. I had all four unpacked and assembled in just over an hour. They were super easy, just 7 screws per chair and every hole lined up perfectly.
They are very sturdy and beautifully crafted. They have a brushed finish (not chrome) that goes well with the stainless steel kitchen.
I am very happy with this purchase!

The chairs arrived in time, very well packed. Assembling could be so easy when the holes and the threads would match. But you need a knife to cut out the leather and a drill for the frame. Too bad, could be so easily fixed by the manufacturer. Otherwise you get a good product for a great price.

These chairs were difficult to assemble even though there were few parts because the holes did not line up well. My husband put the sweat in with a few choice words and the finished product was not only beautiful but at a great price. If you want to spend the extra time it takes to put them together, I would recommend them.

Delivery of these chairs was very quick; less than a week from placing the order. The quality of the chairs is what you would expect from a $50 chair. They're not great and we would have liked to have been able to purchase the chairs that were our first choice. Unfortunately both suppliers, while showing stock, did not have any due to quality reasons.

The leather on these chairs is quite hard. The mounting hardware (screws and washers) were of a very poor quality and were difficult to use to fit the seats and backs to the metal framework. Very typical of poor Chinese workmanship.

Basically, you get what you pay for.
