This is very bleak music. It reminds one of an ascending nightmare which reaches its peak and then comes screaming slowly down. Morbidly beautiful, the symphony and "time frozen" are worth buying the CD alone. the other pieces are interesting also. recommended to fans of Lentz, Gudaydulina, Kancheli, etc.
