Cobra CPI-A20 AC Power Inverter Remote

I was putting a system in my RV for dry camping and this works nice to turn inverter on and off from inside my RV. It's basically a phone cord and easy to route and install. Looks nice too and is a very slim design with nothing sticking out to run into. Very Nice!!

I replaced my old 1750 watt inverter with this new Cobra 2500 watt unit. I was disappointed to find my old remote switch (from the other inverter) did not work, even though the plug and wire were the same. So I ordered this one made for the Cobra and VIOLA. Works like a charm. In fact, it's even better than the old one because I don't have to first turn the master switch on (on the inverter itself) in order for the remote to work. So, I'm totally satisfied with this switch.

This product is very useful and convienent for turning on or off a cobra inverter that is in the trunk of a vehicle. The cable attached, is long enough for placing the remote swich in a location that meets the users needs. Power inverters can drain a battery after a period of time if left on and unattended especially when the vehicle's engine is off. To have a remote in a covienent location is a plus!

We bought this thinking we had to have it for our higher power inverter. We did not need it. However it let us turn the inverter off and on from either side of the vehicle, which when you are using the inverter a lot for various things, it is nice.
Just want to mention. The indicator light can be hard to see during daylight as it is glowing through from behind the face panel. It is tempting to cut a hole around it.

Wow, what a (bad) surprise. $25 for a switch and a light. The light is microscopically small (about 1/16" x 1/4"), but it didn't work anyway, out of the box. Unfortunately, I had this item on my "project shelf" for a while, past the warranty, so I'm going to have to fix it myself. One LED should not be too hard to replace. The switch does work okay - - however, it's a push-on/push-off design, so the light absolutely HAS to be operational or you have no idea whether the inverter is on or off.

Panel is nice-looking enough - - if they charged $15 and had a nice big LED so you could see it from any angle, it would be worth it. As-is, it's a bit of a rip-off, but sadly there is no alternative. If you want a remote panel for your inverter, design and build your own (pretty easy basic electronics) or pay Cobra their ransom and hope your panel works when you receive it. Better test it before the 30 days are up.

this remote helps me to turn my inverter off it works great and for the price the have it at it it worth it and plus you gt the job done right

this makes using the power inverter very nice you dont have to to the back of the car you touch a buttton and its on very nice

Mounted this inverter in my truck. I'm on the road all day for work and this inverter drives the electronics. Have had no problem at all with it. Arrived in excellent condition and the price was a good bit under the local retailer, even with shipping.

This switch worked exactly as described. It turns off the inverter and on again. The installation was especially simple, too.

Installed the inverter in my RV. This switch put the finishing touch on the installation. (Obviously, it also makes controlling the inverter easier too!)
