The world's first nine-band radar and laser detector, the Cobra ESD9101 CS Nine-band Radar/Laser Detector represents the ultimate in detection technology. The Cobra ESD9101 is designed to maximize your awareness of your driving environment by reducing your risk of accidents and traffic violations. The Safety Alert warns you of emergency vehicles and road hazards from systems equipped with Safety Alert transmitters, while the Strobe Alert -- a cobra exclusive -- works with tens of thousands of emergency vehicles currently equipped with Strobe Alert Systems and provides an advanced alert of the presence and/or approach of these vehicles.
The Cobra ESD9101 also alerts you when you are under the surveillance of VG-two radar detection, and provides immunity from the VG-two detection. This unit features an UltraBright data display that lets you easily recognize the detected band by use of band identification letters. The signal strength indicators tell your relative proximity to the target. The AutoMute function automatically mutes the alert for your convenience. The ESD9101 has a dim-mode switch that allows you to dim the radar detector display to enhance your night driving. And last, but not least, this detector features a city-to-highway switch that allows you to select operating modes to reduce the frequency of false alerts in densely populated urban areas.
