Cobra MicroTALK PR245-2VP 6-Mile 22-Channel FRS/GMRS Two-Way Radio (Pair)

We use this 2-way in a medium size retail store (50,000 sq. feet) and it works great. The batteries last a full 12 hour day. There is ocassional static, but normally switching channels solves that problem. They've been dropped several times (on tile and carpet), but they keep on going. We've had them just over months and they still work great! I took off one star because the batteries take so long to charge.

We use this two way radio in our business. It has proven to be very dependable. It also has decent range.

It doesn't have some of the features that some of the more expensive radios have- like the digital compass or weather radio channels that the COBRA PR 4000 has- but it does offer lots of channels and is very dependable.

We have used other 2 way radios but for the money this one, the COBRA PR 245, is the best overall value.

I've tried several different models and brands and this one is the best we've found.
It is very comfortable in the hand. The audio is clear and clean. It's small.
