An audible incoming call alert lets one unit ring another to initiate a conversation, and the talk confirmation tone indicates the completion of your transmission and signals others that it's clear to talk. Other convenient features include a headphone/speaker jack and a low-battery indicator.
The Cobra FRS 100-2 is powered by four AAA batteries (not included) or an optional NiMH rechargeable battery (not included). Charge pads allow a trickle charge of the NiMH battery pack by placing the radio in a charger (not included). You can expect 20 to 25 hours of operation with either battery type.
Cobra offers a two-year warranty on parts and labor.

What a great radio!,

This review is from: Cobra MicroTalk1 FRS 100-2 2-Mile 2-Channel FRS Two-Way Radio (Plum) (Pair) (Electronics)
The FRS-100 Radio is the best radio I have ever used! I have two 100's and 1 300. The 300 is slightly better but the 100's are still really nice. The 100's are easy to use and made by the most trusted company, Cobra. One switch can change you to channel 1 or 2 and you can alert other users with the call button. It makes lots of beeps so that they know they want to be spoken to. They can also go further then 2 miles. I have gone 7 miles and still had great reception! Some say Motorola has better radios, but they don't. They are just more expensive.
