5.0 out of 5 stars Cobra Style Definately
This is a premier album by Familyman Barrett. It is timely and unimaginably awesome. It gives a deeper meaning to the word bassist, musician, producer, arranger, genius. Barrett blends together beautiful dubs that are original and distant, while also blending together talent like female roots singer Senya and ole tima, Jimmy Riley. Each and every track is solidly...

3.0 out of 5 stars Don't blieve the hype
OK-I understnad that Family Man is one of the best bassist's of all-time. But, This CD is just not that good. To begin with, it's all the leftovers that were not strong enough to make the original albums. I would only buy this as the last piece of my Wailers collection.

Barrett blends together beautiful dubs that are original and distant, while also blending together talent like female roots singer Senya and ole tima, Jimmy Riley. Each and every track is solidly rhythmic and fluent. Its an album worth having if you really want to know why Bob Marley had Familyman in his camp.

My now three year scratched this CD and my husband and I were so sad. The local record store tried to order it for us and later said it was out of print. I literally had heart palpitations. My husband and I was so elated to find it on Amazon.com. We love it so much that our children are afraid to touch it.
