Amazingly high quality solid copper (correction - painted steel!) piece. Better than I was expecting based on the description and picture. Get the real thing for what most places charge for resin or plastic knock offs. Very pretty embossed pattern. Will be getting a second one soon.

Update - further research indicates this is painted steel. Has held up very well in actual use. I appreciate the lid. Looks good and keeps the hoses out of the sun. Still wish it were real copper, but then it would be a lot more money.

This is a beautiful and practical garden hose holder. It has the appeal of a decorative piece and the practicality of hiding and holding an entire garden hose.

This container looks great. It has center core inside around which to coil hose which required some tinkering (bending of the sleeve) to install. Finish otherwise is very good.

This holder is a beautiful substitute for that ugly hose reel. It has a nice design and finish, and looks great in the garden. I love the fact that it comes with a lid to keep out the rain and water from the sprinkler system--this will help minimize the possiblity of water pooling in the bottom.

My only issues with this holder are some minor defects in the construction. The trim around the hole where the hose feeds through was not soddered completely--it is secure, but there are gaps in the trim. Also, the knob on the lid was loose upon arrival, and because the metal around the screw hole wasn't level, tightening it resulted in the knob taking on an odd, cock-eyed position on the lid. Fortunately, I was able to add a different washer and tighten it in a particular way which took care of the problem so it wasn't very noticeable. Because this pot was going outside in the garden, I decided it wasn't worth returning it for these minor defects, but I would have preferred a little better quality of construction for the price.

Attractive and made of quality material. Withstands any kind of weather condition. Bird motif on side is beautiful. Very fast delivery. Huge amount of space inside to easily roll up hose. We set the holder on a large flat rock so it would not sit on the ground and made it level. Looks great in the yard.

I had a habit of not rewinding the garden hose on my patio because it was so difficult to turn the handle on the hose carrier. This looked unsightly and gave me one more thing to trip over. This hose pot solved my problem. It is a beautiful pot large enough to handle a 75 or 100 ft. hose. I store a 75 ft. spiral hose (also purchased on Amazon) in this decorative piece and love that I can close the lid so that the hose is out of sight. I highly recommend this item.

I read the many positive reviews before placing my order, and I am not at all disappointed. It is light enough to easily carry, yet substantial enough that it can handle bangs and bumps. The middle piece on the inside is a separate thick tube, which I am not using since I just bought some coil hoses, so it was very convenient being able to simply remove it. Everything fits in quite easily (I have 100' of hose plus a long handle/nozzle). It is very attractive and much less expensive than many others that I had been considering. All in all, I am quite pleased.

This thing is great! I have never been able to roll up a hose neatly. Now it just doesn't matter - although, ironically, my hose looks neater in its pot than it ever did on a reel. And the hose pot itself is beautiful. It looked good online, but what doesn't? I was prepared for it to be less attractive in three dimensions, but it's not. I kept it inside the first few days because it just looked too pretty to put in the yard. Now I have one in the backyard and one out front. I worry about the one in front, though - several of my neighbors have been eyeing it enviously . . .

I was very pleased wih the copper finish hose holder. It looks nice in our yard and it's more than I expected.

While a bit pricier than your average hose roller that attaches to your wall, this is much more aesthetically pleasing. The design looks very nice in person, and it is very sturdy as well as the lid. If you keep a garden (or not) this is an excellent way to transform your ugly hose into something pleasant to be around. After buying one for myself and using it for a couple of months, I bought two more for my mother and sister as Xmas presents. Not sure how much shipping costs on this thing, but I have Amazon Prime so it was free! Some people have complained about the welding around the hose hole in the back. I didn't notice anything like that on mine but I didn't inspect every square inch of it either. Either way the hose hole goes in the back where you don't see it so this thing looks great on my patio.
