The Score for Edge of the City are incomplet (more tracks haven't survived). And also there is the information, that James Dean took piano lessons at Leonard Rosenman and their relationship blossomed into a strong friendship (maybe there was more?).
About The Cobweb: the score is great to listen. Every dramatic moment comes out.
The movie itself has a stunning Cast: Richard Widmark, John Kerr, Gloria Grahame, Charles Boyer, Lillian Gish, Lauren Bacall, Oscar Levant, Tommy Rettig, Susan Strasberg.
Typically for drama movies in 50/60s: one patients homosexuality was translated into a "mother complex"
In few words: the cd/score is great. Buy it and enjoy a great sound.
