I bought this Coby charger because the two "Coby 4 GB Video MP3 Player with FM Radio (Blue)" I recently bought for my son and myself did not come with one. I find it easier to charge items with the house electricity instead of the computer. That it can charge both of our mp3 players at the same time is nifty, too.

We've only had the charger a few days, but it does not get warm when it is plugged in. That was a relief to me because I had, at one time in the past, another brand's USB wall charger that would get extremely hot, which I'm assuming was not a safe thing to be happening.

The plug prongs fold down when unplugged, and that is nice if ever I need to travel with it, or lay it in a drawer.

This thing is awesome. Don't waste your money buying the over price single slot usb chargers from apple. This charger will handle anything you throw at it except for the odd voltage that is required to charge a PS3 controller. This will not work to charge Play Station 3 controllers! Most usb chargers won't.

I have a phone and a Nook that charge off of USB and the two wall warts they came with were taking up too much space on my power strip. I might even get another one of these for my kitchen to charge my camera and another phone!

I purchased this inexpensive charger for the 2 4th generation iPod touches. It works great, charges 1 or 2 iPods at the same time and beats the heck out of Apple's over-priced adapter. I'd recommend this in a heart-beat.

Works as it should. No problems at this time. Nice size for travel. Two slots for attaching different charging items.

I bought a Cooler Master NotePal U3 Notebook Cooler with 3 Fans - for my Dell XPS 17" Laptop; and really didn't want to power it off of the Dell USB port. So I bought this Coby CA81BLK Dual USB Power Adapter/Charger as a power supply. It provides up to 1 amp of USB power - and works perfectly for this application. Perfect fit for a non-standard application at less than $9. What could be better !!!

Works great. I use it for my mp3 players. Don't need to use computer to recharge them.
I keep it plugged in, in a convenient place and it recharges what ever I need recharging.

I needed to get a charger for my iPod touch. I looked into apple's usb charger and it is so expensive (I already have one for my iphone but I needed another one) and I also looked into the knock off apple chargers. The knock offs had awful reviews and I was not going to pay for the actual apple charger. I love this Colby USB charger. The 2 slots are really convenient, I like that it can be folded and packed away easily and it is a great size. I would highly recommend this product it has worked great with everything I have used it with (ipod and kindle mainly).

The reason we chose this is that is has multiple outlets allowing you to power 2 devices at the same time. It works great.

Does exactly what one would expect from this. Nothing more, nothing less. Works great. Plugged it in and basically forgot it was there until Amazon asked me to do this review.
