5.0 out of 5 stars Good set of headphones
I have been using these headphones for two months now and I think they are great. I don't need $100.00 headphones, I don't work in a recording studio. I just want to enjoy my music, movies, and video games without disturbing others around me and still enjoy excellent sound quality. These are perfect for the price and really a steal for this price. I use them for listening...

2.0 out of 5 stars Ouch!!!!!
First let me start out by saying that these headphones sound excellent for the price I dont think I've heard better in this price range, Great bass and you can hear everything clear.

Now on the the bad news, I bought these phones before a long roadtrip, I listened to them for about 2 hours and when I took them off I screamed in pain. Why? Well the phones were...

I use them for listening to DVD movies on my computer mainly at work. It makes my day go by faster even though I can't watch the movies, listening is good enough for me. I can hear every little sound and the bass is excellent. From some of the other reviews, I do agree that they are loud and I do believe in protecting my hearing so, I turn the volume of the device all they way down and sometimes only if I need to, I slide them forward a little so that they aren't directly over my ears which helps, depending on the device. Most of the time I don't need to though. I wear these headphones all day at work for 8 hours and I don't have any problems with them affecting my ears. I have no discomfort at all. Others who complained about this headset being painful may have larger ears than others and this is not being disrespectful at all. Some people do have larger ears than others. Mine are small I guess and I feel these are the most comfortable set of headphones that I have ever worn for this price and they have excellent sound quality. For me the loudness is good. You can hear everything, even the slightest little background noise in the movies and video games that you normally wouldn't hear with great clarity even with your device on low. Since I have enjoyed using these headphones over the past two months, I am getting ready to purchase another set for my husband. He knows by my taste that if I approve something, it has to be good.

Now on the the bad news, I bought these phones before a long roadtrip, I listened to them for about 2 hours and when I took them off I screamed in pain. Why? Well the phones were nice enough to dig into my ears and they were sooo red, they didn't stop hurting for like a half-hour.

GREAT SOUND BUT THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE HEADPHONES EVER MADE!!!!

I do admit that if u dont have these headphones on a certain way that they hurt ur ears. And i think they need to be worn in for a couple days. my last pair of full ear headphones did also. But other than that they are awsome. Best sound quality thta ive heard in a while. Very comfortable (if u have them on right). They also look really cool..They do feel like u have earmuffs on tho lol. But i do recommend these headphones to anybody thats on a tight budget and wants good quality, good sounding headphones.

3.0 out of 5 stars Decent sound; hurt my ears, January 7, 2009

Got these headphones at a music store for about 25$..

These sound pretty good (though I have a pair of Sony wraparounds that I got ten dollars cheaper that are definitely comparable), but after a little while of wearing them they REALLY start to hurt your ears. Not sharp pain, but it's this dull ache that really gets annoying. It ruins the experience a bit.

2.0 out of 5 stars Flimsy construction, not rugged, average sound quality, June 27, 2008
This review is from: Coby CV630 Open Air Super Bass Digital Stereo HP (Electronics)
These headphones are ok, but nothing real special when you compare them to others in their price range.

The main issue is that the curved headband is made out of very cheap, flimsy plastic. On my set, the headband broke after 3 months of use and rendered the headphones pretty much useless since the ear cups will not longer snugly fit on the ears.

The sound quality is decent, but nothing that would really make you go WOW!

So, the low rating is mainly for the flimsy construction.

These are 100% useless headpohone. They are too loud. I have to buy another headpohne Either Sony MDR-v150 or Sennheiser HD 202 Closed Headphones. Save your $15 by not buying this crap.
