I bought this CD player because of its price and what came with it. I figured 'Hey, a CD player, headphones and mini-speakers, not too bad'. Well, turns out I was only half right. While the CD players works fine, it tends to skip a lot. My other CD player had an anti-skip protector, which protected it from the biggest of hits. I could punch it and it wouldn't skip. This one, I tap it and it skips. Although not a major detail, it can become a minor nuisance if your one for listening to music while you walk or jog. Secondly, the mini-speakers. The sound quality is fairly good for speakers of that size, although it sounds a bit tinny at times and you can lose some of the song because you can't hear it. If you turn the volume up, though, it sounds fine. It's loud enough to hear, but doesn't get loud enough to disturb others. They're good for a place where you can't use a stereo system, can't wear headphones, or don't want to wear headphones.

Speaking of the headphones, they have excellent sound quality and I only have one complaint. They rattle a lot when you pick them up. A very minor detail and doesn't affect listening at all. Just something I noticed.

This package is great for the price, but don't buy it if you're going to use it for activities. Unless you wanna hold it in your hand. In that case, be my guest. Also, the mini-speakers are a nifty little item, but as of now, I can't think of a good purpose for them aside from using them while you shower.

I live for music, day in and day out. I bought this product on base because I did not want to spend over $20 and by the end of that day I wish I had spent more on something else. You can barely walk with this item, it skips very easily. I tried it in my backpack, but the motion of my walk was just too much, I ended up having to walk to where I was going with the device in my hand. The volume does not get loud enough with the headsets and if you are using the mini-speakers, make sure there is absolutely no other noise in the room and keep your windows closed, because you can barely hear it. It's worth the price however, and if you are just lying in your bed or sitting on a train or bus, this is good.

This item is wonderful! You get the whole effect of surrond sound and you can have a portable cd player at the exact same time and the price is great you don't always have to spend alot of money for great items! It also has a great sleek shape for you to take anywhere anytime and people think that you spent alot of money on this great and affordable cd player! Go and get yours today!

I love music. I play a few instruments and sing. So I like to be able to listen to CDs just about anywhere and anytime I can. I didn't want to spend much on this purchase so I decided to try this Coby player. It feels very nice and looks rather snazzy. The earphones are comfortable and produce a great sound as do the extra earbuds that come with it. There is an extra bass-boost button that adds full resonance to the sound. And you even get small speakers. What a deal for the money! No, it doesn't have lots of fancy features but it has all I ever really use, and the buttons are easy to see and easy to use. I definitely recommend this set.

To start out this reccomendation, I would like to say that Amazon has a great price for this item. Most places has it for well over $30 so if your looking to buy it, I would buy it here. I also am pretty sure that it has free shipping so it is a good deal.

I play my Gavin Degraw Chariot CD on this the most and it is unbelievable sound. I have accidently dropped it in the past and it still doesnt skip. As the display goes, the screen isnt the hugest, but you can definetley read the screen w/ decent vision. Most importantly this CD Player has got some style! The beautifully decorated silver screen is entranced w/ a great navy blue display and it really pulls together the Player. If you would like to use this at a gym, people will envy you over the looks!

Not too big, not too small, great design and headphones work well that come w/ it! Definetley a great CD Player for its price.

The other review for this item really has no right to be posted. Just because it doesnt work when you bought it basically means that you havent seen the capabilities that it offers. Go with me and buy this, you wont be dissappointed.

I've had these in the past, they're very good in relation to the price. Easily comparable to a Sony in audio quality, and a lot tougher if you're the butterfingers type like yours truly *blush* I've dropped a Sony once and had it shatter, while this brand is good for a couple dozen drops. It's pretty light on the battery use compared to other brands too, and the extra speakers are great for using it on the bathroom counter while you shower, or if your main PC speakers blow out; just plug into the CD reader's headphone jack and listen up.

my son is 8 and he has went through several portable players. This one is better then any of the cheap ones I have gotten him and it was very reasonably priced. The speakers are really cool, not the best but perfect for a kid. My son loved it, and I loved it for the price.

We got this item a week ago and havent stoped playing it. It comes with three sets of speakers (one of wich is speakers and two are diferent tipes of headphones.) it is very bump sensitive and will not do you any good for traveling or sports for you will be interupted a lot in the middle. I was suprised when it stoped working but I managed to fix that by spining the disc around manually for a moment so that wasent a big problem. all in all I was very pleased with this item for I was looking for something small and this easily forfilled my expectations and desiers.

I purchased this player specifically to listen to music at my desk at work. For that purpose, it has exceeded my expectations for the price. The sound is surprisingly good with the included headphones. After several months of use, the player has yet to show any signs of "button fatigue" that I have experienced with other portable units. No AC adapter was included, but there is a DC input jack which works with the adapter from my previous player, a huge plus in my book.

Now, the downside. The external speakers sound weak and tinny, and aren't worth the trouble. The package also included some ultra-tiny speakers that were too big to be earbuds, and they didn't work anyway. The player has no anti-skip function, and it will skip if I close a desk drawer too hard. Don't buy this unit if you want something that you can carry around.

For my purpose, this player is a great deal. You can't beat the price, and the sound is exceptional, but it needs to stay in one spot. If you want a truly portable CD player, buy something else.

The tiny speakers are barely audible. Having opened it, tried it, and realized this we were amazed to find that this company, ANTonline, will not let us return it. They will not, in fact, accept any returns unless they are in the original package, sealed. Even then, they will charge you a re-stocking fee of 15%. Go elsewhere to buy this item, if you must have it. And ALWAYS check the "return policy" before buying anything. Amazon will not cover this either, they only help with items which are materially different than what you ordered.

Buyer, beware.
