I bought this system for my baby's room. I needed a player that had a repeat function. This player constantly gives a 00 (no disc) code, and it is impossible to get it to play. The advice given by the coby people is to leave the CD door open and unit on to remove any humidity. Even when I do get it to recognize a disk, it then won't play, it spins and spins looking for a track. Then when it finally finds a track it skips and sputters constantly. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY, spend the extra 30 bucks to get a good system. Now, I have to spend double the money to replace this unit, COBY customer service sucks.

The player came in excellenct condition. Exactly what we were looking for: compact, sturdy, a pleasure to look at, easy for a 4-year-old to use. But as a previous reviewer commented, it refused to play all songs on any cd inserted. Out of 13 songs, it only played 9. I tried many different cds, but to no avail. My product was returned the day after I received it.

When I think of remote control I think of "on/off" and "volume up/down". So I was surprised to find that this remote doesn't do the most important functions of turning the unit on or off and it doesn't change the volume. I will end up giving mine to one of my children and buying something else for me.

When I saw this here it had a different description, It said that it had MP3 playback and a USB port. It has none of that. I can't return it because I ordered so that my mom got while he was on vacation on the States. I feel very disappointed with this.

We bought this for our 11 year old son. It is perfect for him.
It has the features he wants and I'm not too worried about it getting beat up. For the price, it is worth it.

I bought a Coby stereo for my daughter for Christmas. The CD player NEVER worked. Target would not accept a return of the stereo because they said it was under warranty from the company. Coby would not answer their phones or e-mails, and they did not return my calls. This is a poor product with no customer service. It was a piece of trash...

I purchased this for my little girl, well she is a tween now. She loved it. The sound is perfect for her, nothing to extravagent which is fine. The rest of the family does not need to hear High School Musical base all day. It is easy to use for her, and its "styling" as she put it. Does not take to much space.

Compact, and well thought out CD MP3 player/radio package, on a budget!

this stereo system works wonderfully... no issues... it isn't use much, maybe once or twice a week, but no issues since i've had it

WEEEEEELLLLLL, I DIDN'T FEEL SO EXITED ABOUT THIS PRODUCT. THE RADIO ITS VERY DIFFICULT TO SINTONIZE, SO YOU HAVE TO BE CAREFULLY AT A TIME TO READ THE SPECIFICATIONS WHEN YOU WILL BUY THIS ITEM.
