I was looking for a radio-CD-cassette player for the bedroom, to supplement the standard radio now in use. I was not looking for something expensive but just to play some of my tapes and CDs before bedtime. I hesitated about buying this system after the one reviewer said the volume was weak.
I received the unit today and set it up. It is just wonderful. The volume goes as loud as I would want. But then I'm nearly age 60 so maybe I don't need the volume the kids today would want. The sound from this unit is great, I rated it five stars because for the price it is unmatched. The AM reception is quite weak but the FM is strong. Tape cassettes and CDs play quite nicely. If this were a movie review, it would be Thumbs Up!

I purchased this item for my husband for Christmas. After 4 mos. the CD player stopped working. Amazon does not replace items after 30 days and Coby only has a 90 day warranty on their CD players, DVD players, etc. However, they will replace headphones up to one year. If you really want this item, I suggest you purchase the extended warranty to cover this junk.

Great little Stereo, 50amp compact stereo works great. Volume, #1 to 30, I run on #14 its by my computer desk. We live in the Missouri Ozarks so AM radio weak, close stations clear, Music, half volume sounds real good, I'am 70years young, Bass Boast helps. Well pleased with Stereo, Price, Size,
