Very good DVD player, plays all sorts of DVDs, which is what I was looking for. The remote layout is odd, and not intuitive, plus it is weak (tried 3 sets of batteries) and you have to line up and stand within 7 feet to make the remote work the DVD player. However, this is a very good machine compared to the SONY I overpaid for. :*)

I got this for my son for his 6th birthday. He has it down, the drawer works easy, the digital readings are easy for him to read and understand. The remote control is larger than our other DVD players with larger buttons so he manages it easy. This one is so easy a 6 year old can do it.

This DVD player is a good choice if you want something cheap that, perhaps, you won't be using all the time. I bought this for my exercise room so I can do exercise videos and it's perfect for that purpose. It was easy to use...just plugged it in and it was ready to go. The only problem I have with it is the remote control - I often have to press the buttons several times before the player responds. It's annoying, but not enough to make me send it back.
