This isn't a bad little mp3 player.

pros: it has a screen, relatively cheap, has radio. The screen image is ok (note, the pic. of the girl is a sticker).

cons: the interface is somewhat non-intuitive. You have to push the left/right buttons to scroll down. The video is a nice feature but it uses .amv (converting software included) which is hardly used by mp3 devices. I've had no trouble getting video converted, lots of trouble getting the audio from the video to play (although I have had minimal success).

all in all: it's not a bad mp3 player. I got mine on sale so maybe that's why I'm not as disappointed. $40 is probably the limit on what I'd spend on this (although who knows what lesser mp3 player you could get for this $). Again, it's not an ipod, but if you can be content with an mp3 player that has a few bells and whistles (but not great ones), it's a good buy.

This player is so bad that the internet's biggest gadget reviewer, CNET, had a segment called "prizefight" where they compared this device to a homemade mp3 player. It was a tie.

To top off all of the incredibly dumb design features and quirks, this thing has a 2.5mm headphone jack instead of a 3.5mm jack, meaning that you will need a special adapter in order to use any normal pair of headphones.

This thing is junk. The dial feels like a toy. The menu system to select images or music is non-existent. It's the most counter-intuitive system imaginable. It's almost like they intentionally made it hard to use. And the one I bought wouldn't hold a charge that would last more than about 15 minutes. My efforts to have Coby respond to my inquiries, received nothing but silence. Much like what I got with this piece of junk. As I tried to work with Coby for more than a month, I exceeded Amazon's return policy. This thing is now at a greenspot recycling center. Don't waster your money.

I was cautious about this purchase after reading the reviews of others. After using the Coby MP-C7082 MP3 Player for a week or so, I have to say, they were right. This little thing can be infuriating until you get used to the navigation. Even then it's awkward to use and just an all around pain in the butt.

That being said, it works. It stores music and video, then plays it back. I got it on a gold box deal for really cheap and I think it was worth the price.

This is a sad little MP3 player. It doesn't hold nearly 500 songs (at the lowest WMP setting it holds more like 200), and the menu is just plain awful. After fiddling with it for a long time, I think I have it mastered, but as a previous reviewer noted, don't expect something intuitive like iPod's. I really do hope my return is accepted--I should have spent the extra money on a brand name in the first place.

Just got these during this good sale for my husband and I . They are great. Not an Ipod but I did not expect that. Some of the issues described in other reviews we found were solved by carefully reading the instructions. The unit plays well and we got the Coby-CA-745-Wireless-Transmitter too for our car and it works so well. We are enjoying using the units and for the price, you can't go wrong!

I got this MP3 player for about $25. Picked one up for myself and my husband. We both hate them.
We can't get mine to display songs. My media player says that the songs have been downloaded, but I can only find one in the player.
The controls are difficult to figure out and it isn't easy to navigate. My husband has tried to download video, but none of it worked.

Overall, it was a complete waste of our money.

Got it for $25 as a "Deal of the Day"... even at nearly half the price, this thing is a rip-off.

Had it less than a week and the cheesy selector switch failed on my second run with it (indoors in a gym). Now its stuck in "menu mode" and I can do absolutely nothing with it. Not even worth the shipping charges I'd have to pay to return it. I've wasted enough time on it already.

This MP3 player is the biggest joke ever. I bought it as a Christmas present for my little sister. When I tried to charge it for her it won't charge. It has been on the charger for 10 hours and nothing has happened..
