4.0 out of 5 stars A good little unit
for the price. My husband bought this for me from Walgreens when it was on sale. It's easy to use, although a mite sensitive. The headphones look like stethoscope ends and are too bulky to use comfortably. 3.0 out of 5 stars Review of Coby MP-C7095 MP3 Player
I found the Coby to be easy to download to for music; however, it has been difficult to download picts and other media images. It is very sensitive to heat and whenever I have taken it to the beach or pool, it quits working within minutes of being in the sun (on my towel or chair). The battery life according to the manual is 20 hours of playback time - not even close! I...

3.0 out of 5 stars Review of Coby MP-C7095 MP3 Player, July 8, 2007
This review is from: Coby MP-C7095 MP3 Player with 2 GB Flash Memory with FM & Color Display (Electronics)
I do like the slimness of the unit but the touchpad control is so sensitive, you must use the hold button every time you play your tracks which is somewhat annoying if you like to manually skip to songs yourself. The sound quality is good. It works best with Windows Media Player and I did have difficulty getting it to download from any other program (i.e. Musicmatch Jukebox).

The headphones look like stethoscope ends and are too bulky to use comfortably. The unit is a perfect match for Windows Media player (make sure you have version 11, with the patches provided on the Microsoft website), and syncing the music from the media player to the MP3 player is quick and easy. I get barely 8 hours of continuous play, but that's long enough for work. The sound quality is excellent, and you can fit a heck of a lot of songs on the 1.9 gig (not the 2 gig that's on the package) memory. All in all, for the price, I found the unit to be worth the money.

i bought it a walgreens for 107 bucks , i feel like i got a great deal, this is my first mp3 player, i bought it for its small size, i can take it to work and put it in my lunch box to entertain myself on breaks in my car, seems to keep a good charge on my unit , i have read the reviews seems some people got some bad units LOL! , it took me like 2 hours to learn how to load video MTV files, thier hard to find on the internet for free, start by searching for .mpeg files what ever you like can take some time to find mpeg files they are scarce now that streaming media rules the net. i have had my unit on for more than 12 hours stright the battery seems too be full ? hummm whens it going to run out?

5.0 out of 5 stars Works great, great battery life and ton of memory., March 10, 2008

Wow, a lot of people have had a bad time with this MP3 player and I seem to be the only one who actually had no problems with it.
It looks gorgeous, the red and black make it look really cool and it is very sleek.
It holds a lot of songs, more than I will ever need. The touch screen is cool, though a lot of people say it is too sensitive? Not for me at least. I just put it on shuffle and keep the volume constant, then put the hold feature on and everything stays in place just how I like it.
I haven't used it for videos so I don't really know how well that works, but I have heard the format it uses is a bit hard to find.
It isn't fragile for me either, I have dropped it in the snow, on the concrete, in the dirt, and countless times on my hardwood floors. My brother even threw it out the window when he was upset with me and it was still perfectly fine! Not even a scratch.
Basically an all around good product, and I mean hey you get what you paid for. Well for me I got a lot more than what I paid for, considering I got mine for free. Couldn't have asked for a better MP3 player.

Good product. the feature set in this for its price is amazing. the down side to this item is that it comes with a really gawky headset. and if you plan on watching a movie on it be prepare to have the battery go dead on you real quick. as an MP3 player and a USB storage this works great. id recommend you buy this. it looks nice too.

1.0 out of 5 stars Poorly Made. Not sure how it passed QC, July 14, 2007

This review is from: Coby MP-C7095 MP3 Player with 2 GB Flash Memory with FM & Color Display (Electronics)
This is one of the worst mp3 players I have seen. The first unit I purchased arrived doa. The replacement worked, but the battery only holds a charge of about 10 minutes (appx length of 3 songs). The second unit that I had purchased at the same time works while plugged into a computer, but will not hold a charge at all.
The touch pad is a nice feature but only works about half the time. However, this is just "glitter & effects" to mask how poorly made this mp3 player is. I made the mistake of researching this brand after purchasing it and it seems that there is definitely a problem with their batteries, among other things. I would recommend purchasing another brand.

2.0 out of 5 stars decent sound but poor design, April 13, 2008
This review is from: Coby MP-C7095 MP3 Player with 2 GB Flash Memory with FM & Color Display (Electronics)
decent sound but poor design. sometimes you need a pin to reset it. sometimes some songs are skipped with no reason. anyway it has a decent sound, better than sandisk sansa.

The interface could be more user friendly when it comes to customizing playlists. And the battery life seems shorter than other similiar devices.
But for the price I can't complain to much.

Well I seen all the bad reviews but took a risk well taken, I received it a few days ago and seem to hold it's charge well, the screen is a little small but what can you expect for the price, very elegant looking, I put a video but it's not worth it since the screen is to tiny and hard to watch. I'm assuming that everyone that gave it a one was expecting an ipod quality..lol. But over all I take it to the gym and has not let me down yet. Great little gadget.

3.0 out of 5 stars Battery, August 25, 2007
This review is from: Coby MP-C7095 MP3 Player with 2 GB Flash Memory with FM & Color Display (Electronics)
The player holds a ton of songs. More songs than i can think of. The sound quality is great, but the battery life is very short. My mp3 only really plays for about an hour before dying. With no warning and with the battery meter full it drops down to nothing.
