The Coby MP-CD545 is a portable CD/MP3 player which will play audio CDs, CD-R/RW discs and MP3 files. If you are one who uses a portable CD player as your car CD player, the CD-545 is a perfect choice. Included is a complete car kit: an AC/DC adaptor and cassette adaptor. With the anti-shock system the player will take on the toughest roads. When playing audio CDs, the player offers forty seconds of protection and when playing MP3 discs the protection moves up to two minutes. The player runs on the AC adaptor or with two AA batteries. With the low battery alert, keeping ahead of run-down batteries is a cinch. Coby has integrated a Dynamic Bass Boost System to enhance the overall listening experience. This bass boost system will help counter the tendency of headphones running bass-low. The sixty-four track programmable memory will allow a listener to individualize a MP3-formatted CD, perfect for an extra hard workout. If you connect the player to your stereo, the sixty-four programmed tracks will keep you listening for quite a few hours. With the included AC adapter it is possible to charge rechargeable batteries (not included) automatically. Remember to turn off the charger if you are not charging to avoid damaging the player and/or the batteries. Other features of the player include: hold, resume, repeat and random play.
