This glossy black portable DVD player arrived not ready to play all regions, but merely with a hack code printed out and stuck to the box. Repeated attempts to install the code have failed. So, what we ended up buying was an overpriced, third-tier portable unable to perform as expected. 10.2" screen size is nice but sharpness and color definitely lag behind the competition from better name brands. A bright, glowing dead pixel in the middle left of the screen further detracts from the viewing experience. In short, the TF-DVD1023 is not worth the price for what you get. If you need a region-free portable, keep looking. This one ain't it.
