Coby's affordable TF-DVD5010 portable DVD player features compatibility with DVD-Video (both NTSC- and PAL-formatted region-1 and all-region discs), audio CD, CD-R, CD-RW, and MP3-encoded discs. I got this as a gift for Christmas. The only problem I have is with the battery life, but most portables under $200 don't go above 2.5 hours. The screen image is pretty good for its size. Bigger screens might be better but they take up a lot more room and this fits comfortably in my bag. The other problem is really the sound, but I plan to solve that with a portable AMP and EQ. Both can be obtained for a little over $20 each. All in all for the price its a pretty good player.

DO NOT BUY THIS!!!! COMES WITH A 3 MONTH WARRANTY. IT PLAYS ONLY CERTAIN R1 DVDs. WON'T PLAY ANY BY FOX OR PARAMOUNT, AND ONLY PLAYS A FEW BY TOUCHSTONE. WHEN I COMPLAINED TO COMPANY, THEY SAID THERE WAS NOTHING THAT THEY COULD DO. BOUGHT AT DISCOVERY CHANNEL STORE.

This dvd player is great. The sound and picture quality is very clear. It is only 5" so it is extremely portable and it can fit anywhere. It comes with a car plug and a battery pack that can be charged. This is very much worth what you pay for it!
