I bought this item a few months ago whilst looking for something to use on long airplane flights. I loved it--the battery life is fairly good for a portable DVD player (I usually get 4-6 hours from it). It is easy to use and it carries well. I have it strapped into the back of my car for when I carry my nieces and nephew around and it works great! The disc rarely (if ever!) skips and the quality of picture is good. It easily hooks to larger screens so that you can use it as your primary DVD player. I love it!

I first purchased a GPX - that went back right away! Then, I purchased this on sale from a discount store for cents under $100 and love it. I have two portable players and the resolution on this Coby is superior. Mine came with a very nice headset. My daughter has this same unit, her toddler uses it and it has been dropped and stepped on and still keeps working just fine!! Amazing.

This item came ready to play right out of the box (including headset and car strap) with my order. The color was surprisingly good, and so is the sound. I've had no problem playing DVDs (my own or store-bought) on the unit. The home and car power supplies not only operate the unit but charge the battery too!

A few minor complaints. First, the power switch on the remote is misleading. It doesn't really turn the unit off. You have to use the power switch on the unit. Second, screen commands are not really intuitive (LCD menu vs. Display). Third, all commands on the unit are identical to the remote with the EXCEPTION of fast forward and rewind. Those are kind of important for going back and forth without skipping from scene to scene. Fourth, despite the appearance of this unit, it's not widescreen, so you will have the black bars around the screen when watching a widescreen DVD.

But those complaints are minor, and they take nothing away from this unit. It's a decent size, decent weight, and more than decent quality. And the battery has great life. A worthy product!

I bought this DVD player on the faith of other reviews and I am very pleased with the product. I have a 5" Audiovox portable and that quality and features does not hold a candle to this Coby. When researching, I have never heard of Coby and thought to give it a try. Heck, for a little over $100 what can go wrong. I absolutley LOVE the player, especially for the price. There are some wonderful features that I was very impressed with....
1. The swivel screen and folding it in half so it can be even more compact.
2. The command buttons are on the player itself and don't need to rely on the remote.
3. The picture quality is excellent.
4. When the battery is low, as indicated on the screen when watching, all you need to do is plug in the AC adapter and the movie is never interrupted cuz of the change in power source.
All in all, it was the best player I've come across.

I was wavering between this DVD player and another brand. This one seemed to get good reviews, and it was less expensive than the other one I was considering. I recieved it in record time. When I opened the box, I was extremely pleased to see that it came with headphones and a case to mount it in the car. This was a huge plus because I bought it for my toddler to watch while on the plane and in the car. I am very impressed with the quality of the picture. The remote is very self explanatory and easy to use. I really love this little DVD player. I am buying another one for my husband for Christmas so he can take it on trips.

I ordered this DVD player Wednesday mid-afternoon (Oct 11). To my surprise when I returned home Friday afternoon (Oct 13) it was on my porch. I can't imagine how such service could happen but it did.
When I opened the DVD player I was also pleasantly surprised at the quality of the device and the number of cords and extras that were included, including a power cord for my car.
I have watched four movies on it so far and it has performed very well with no problems at all. From all appearances, the gadget seems to be very well built and I am really pleased with my purchase.

I found this item most rewarding when I placed the DVD of pictures from the Grandchildren into the player. I found the quality of the pictures very good. Later I flew to Maine and PEI Canada on vacation. The movies I played while on the flight helped the time fly as well. The weight of the player, the battery life before charging was 4 hours plus, and the ease of using the player was great. The sound varies with the quality of the DVD but was excellent when used with the TV system. I would recommend this to anyone feeling queasy with electronics as it is a DVD Player for Dummies.

I had the Coby TF-DVD7100 previously and I loved that one, too. Unfortunately, it came to an untimely end after one too many falls and believe me, there were many. (I am embarrased to admit that and will take better care of this one) I was pleasantly surprised that it came with a headrest mounting bag and two headphone jacks. The product description made no mention of either. It swivels to keep the kiddies from messing with the buttons and folds down like a tablet. I would totally recommend this to anyone in the market for a portable DVD player. The price didn't hurt, either.

I've been using my Coby TF-DVD 7333 non-stop since I received it. I didn't think I would like the small screen but it doesn't bother me at all. The color is vivid and the picture is very clear. I especially like all the accessory's that came with. It's great to take along for any kind of traveling you do. I actually use it in the bedroom instead of a tv. That way I can catch up on movies. I reviewed a number of DVD players and found this to be the best rated. They were right.

After looking at several portable dvd I have to say I'm extremely happy with this one, it has a lot of features and works great!!! And the price is unbeatable.
