I purchased this TV April 2011 and it completely died on August 2012, 4 months after the 1 year warranty.

I purchased the Coby TFDVD2295 22 inch TV to put on my computer desk down in my basement "man cave". I've found the Coby to be a mixed bag of good and not so good things. Here are my pro's and con's, along with some discussion.

Pros:
- It's packed with features ... plenty of input jacks, it reads/plays USB flash drives and SD cards, and has dual ATSC/NTSC tuners.
- The DVD player plays all formats, including both the + and - R/RW CDs and DVDs. I was leaning toward buying a costlier Toshiba unit, until I discovered that for propietary reasons, it only plays the -R CD's and DVD's, but I've been recording things using the +R format. (If you only play commercially produced DVD's and don't record your own, this is not a problem for you either way.)
- Except as noted below in my "cons" section, the HD picture is bright and sharp. (Analog pictures are somewhat less so.)
- The sound is adequate for the size and price of the TV, and there is an output that allows you to run a cable to your stereo system, if so desired.

Cons:
- The viewing angles are VERY poor. I put this unit on my computer desk over my monitor, so that the bottom of the Coby's screen is at my eye level, about three feet away, which works out to a viewing angle of less than 20 degrees to the center of the TV. The picture is washed out at that angle, and the darker colors are very washed out. I have other LCD's and this unit's viewing angle is the worst.
- So far as I can tell, you only get one picture screen aspect. My other TVs have several different screen aspects, so that if you're watching an old format 4 X 3 analog show, you can choose an aspect that doesn't stretch and distort the picture so much.

So, it does not have a great swivel angle - but it is a nice TV for the $. I'm not a techno-nut so I can't give you the nitty-gritty on specs, etc. All I know is that it does exactly what I want it to- displays a good picture with decent sound. I'd buy again.

This is a great TV that was nicely priced and offers a lot of features. The audio is very clear and the picture is outstanding. The only negative is a long pause when first turning it on on and when changing channels.

Perfect space saving TV combo for our small bedroom. Picture and sound is much better than we expected for the price and the unit itself picked up twice as many channels as the old HD converter box.
Good Product, no complaints.

Purchased this in December and in 6 months the DVD player went bad. You only get a 90 day warranty. That short of a warranty should tell you how much confidence they have in their TV's. Pick up the extended warranty or just go with another brand.

I bought this TV/DVD because I recently moved to a smaller place and I needed a new TV. I love the fact that it saves space and I don't need a separate DVD. The picture is gorgeous and the remote is fairly simple compared to some others I have had. Yes the volume could be louder but I have a set a mini speakers that boosts it just fine. Great combo for a great price.

The Coby 22-inch DVD Combo TV has come into my home and brought with it utter dissatisfaction. The sound quality is poor. The ridiculous thing turns itself on and off at will, and barely runs long enough to play a movie. If you're sitting away from it at an angle the video quality is very poor. I wish I would have bought the Samsung version of this TV and feel as if I've totally wasted my money.

This is the perfect sized TV for our bedroom. We have no issues with the picture, sound or anything. My wife and I would definitely recommend this purchase. An excellent choice!!!
