I thought this would be a great product for a long car trip with our grandchildren. I had seen many warnings in other reviews about the player's defect that gives you a WRONG DISK warning and then never working again. Well, they worked great for the first leg of the journey and I was really happy. When we started the 10 hour trip home we got the dreaded message and they never worked again. Don't waste your time and money.
NOTE: I do applaud J & R for their great service. I shipped them back and they refunded all of my money because I was within the 30 day return policy.

Out of the box they looked great, connected them both, put in DVD for the kids for the long weekend. The main video did not work, second screen would turn on, both played the sound but my child with the blank screen complained the whole way. Very disheartening to watch on one screen when both are supposed to be working after paying $100. for them.

Pros: More than 2 years and still working well. Work with all DVD region, fast to read and load, very good sound. I highly recommend.
Cons: Remote control is almost impossible to use. You have to press several times to start the movie, or pause, Back, FWD. etc...
