It's a terrific TV for the price. I'm happy with the way it looks. I just wish it didn't take so long to get to the picture when I turn it on. My old TV got an immediate picture.

The Coby 12"LCD Widescreen Silver TV is a wonderful unit. I searched the internet for a small TV that could be mounted under a kitchen cabinet. I also purchased a special mounting bracket which allows the TV to swivel and rotate up out of the way. The TV has AV and PC inputs and the audio is acceptable.

For its price, it is worth it. Fits well in a kitchen corner. Good picture, sound could be better (clarity), but it is as good as any small screen TV. Hard to read features which are shown in very small print at the bottom of the screen and go off the screen quickly. I would buy it again.

I gave this TV to my husband for Christmas. He uses it in the garage. It had to be small to fit in the corner his hold TV had occupied. He has been very happy with this TV.

My wife and I got this little TV to get rid of the huge old monitor on our desk. To use it as a computer monitor, you also need to buy a cable with a VGA connector to hook to this TV, and a connector on the other end that matches your computer's video connector. For instance, our old computer has a VGA connector, meaning that we needed a cable with two VGA connectors, so this one worked for me: STARTECH.COM MXT101MMHQ 6' Coax SVGA Monitor Cable. I also adjusted the menu options for the computer to make text less blurry; I changed the phase, as well as picture brightness, contrast, and sharpness. I also plugged in our cable connection. The HDTV picture is good; the standard picture is a little blurry if you are too close, but it might be that way on larger LCD TV's, too, I'm usually not that close to them. Another reviewer was correct that there is a volume "jump" between 5 and 6, but it isn't that loud on our TV, and so I've always got it set louder than that (it goes up to at least a 100, and is very loud by 50).

This is a great compact TV, but the sound control is not good. The sound is either on or off. Up to sound level 5, the TV is silent, then when you hit 6 the sound is quite loud with very little variance up to sound 22. It is a great little TV for the kitchen or small room, I just wish the sound control was better.

After shopping all over the net for a small TV that had both analog and digital tuners, I settled on the Coby 12" TV. I received it yesterday through Amazon and JR electronics. Very quick service-4 days with free shipping. Out of the box, this TV rates first class. It has the bells and whistles that a large TV has, along with a great picture and easy to use remote. Also, included were AV cords,and batteries. This TV has all the features that were advertised and then some!!
