Right out of the box, the item malfunctioned. Initially it would not go to the DVD function, then the DVD door would not open. The first DVD stalled, did not play, then played with a digitally distored picture. It would stop, then fast forward without any command. It had significant picture flutter and the video and audio were not in sync.

This is the absolute worst product I have ever purchased, by far! It was supposed to be a Christmas present for my son, but when it arrived, my husband and I wanted to make sure that it worked, rather than waiting until Christmas. Thank goodness that we opened the box and set it up! Right away, the color was completely off, but we gave it a chance, and continued to follow all of the directions to set it up. It literally took 20 minutes for the tv to scan and locate the channels. And once it did, the clarity of the color was still the same. It did not at all improve. Furthermore, once we had turned off the tv, and then turn it back on, it had forgotten all of the channels that it had taken so long to find. Do not buy this product!

The first TV arrived broken. The replacement arrived within a few days. By the time we got the antenna adjusted, which took about 20 minutes. The DTV stopped working. Amazon.com is an amazing company as they are very fast, and uncomplicated receiving either a replacement or refund. Too bad the TV is not built very well.
