First of all, I only have this volume of the CD. They're not marked very well because had I known this was a mulitple CD set I may not have purchased it without the others. This one is Volume 2

This is a High Quality CD of Christmas Carols done quite traditionally and done VERY WELL. I have since heard the other two discs in the set and found them to be as well. I intend on getting the other 2 as I find them since they are a 'limited edition' and so they'll more than likely have to be bought used.

Great production values, great arrangements, all of the artists and ensembles featured on here are incredibly talented and should really have Christmas LP's of their own.

It's the Greatest Hits of Christmas, just not done by your popular artists of the day. With that being said...after hearing some of the arrangements, re-writing, re-tooling of some songs by some of the aritists of the day, you're better off with this Christmas CD for a well rounded traditional Christmas gathering.
