This book's simple rhythm and beautiful illustrations of barnyard characters make this one of my son's favorites(age 23 months). The brightly colored pictures of animals with large text make this book eye-catching and appealing to the very young.

My daughter loves this book! Since she has me read the book over and over again, the colorful pictures and the rhyming stories keep us both entertained. And she loves to look for the three bees on every page. I'd highly recommend this book.

This book along with the Rumble in the Jungle and Commotion in the Ocean are some of my son's faveorite books- The big books along with the bright colors good rhyming pattern and info about animals make these books I really like to read to him. I wish there were more like this out there! Maybe one about Bugs or dinosoaurs or something!

We have a 2 and 3 year old and both have fun with this book!

This is a fun book for the younger set to learn about barnyard animals. It has wonderful picutures and the kids loved it.

I give books as baby gifts and this is one of them! The rhyme is wonderful which kids just love it. We live in the country so we especially like giving this one to our city friends:>)

My son is 2 1/2 and this has been one of his favorite books for a while now. I have the paperback version, but it doesn't matter because the book is still wonderful. The pages are bright and colorful and the rhyming is very cute. The book is just the right length, not too short or cheap on the farm animals. I'm going to order the other two books, Commotion in the Ocean and Rumble in the jungle for him for Christmas.

My 2 year old is IN LOVE with this book. He asks for me to read it every night. You can almost create songs and sing the words to your child. It has really helped him learn the animals and sounds they make. He enjoys finding the 3 little bees on each page too. :o)

LOve this book, very cute. I'm a big fan of Giles Andreae. But I definitely prefer Rumble in the Jungle - and Giraffes Can't Dance, my all-time favorite!!! Highly recommend all of his books :)

I can't say enough about these books. Both of my kids love them. Helps them learn their animals as well.
