A concise, yet detailed, guidebook for an adventure through a lush and mysterious wonderland. The cover art alone is worth the cost of the book.

We spend a lot of time in the Jaguar Preserve, and I have climbed a number of mountains there, including Victoria Peak. No other book is as helpful as this one for exploring the preserve. It has a map with mountain names that I have found nowhere else. The history it provides of the area is fascinating. Best of all, like the similar book on the Baboon Sanctuary, it has a number of very interesting and informative chapters on the ecology, flora and fauna of the rainforest in Belize. If you are planning on visiting the Jaguar Preserve, you should definitely buy this book.
