5.0 out of 5 stars The Wonderful Pearl Bailey!!, September 5, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Cocktail Hour: Pearl Bailey (Audio CD)
This is a wonderful 2 cd collection of some of Pearl's finest recordings. There are even three songs from the very rare and out of print recording of "Arms and The Girl" on this recording. The only fault is that "Curtain Music" is not sung by Pearl on this recording but it is actually Nanette Fabray singing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect Cocktail Music!, August 28, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Cocktail Hour: Pearl Bailey (Audio CD)
There's a reason this series is called "Cocktail Hour." It's up-beat, nostolgic and perfect for setting a social mood. The price is right too- 22 great tracks for $15- you can't go wrong. I plan on keeping this disc in mind for upcoming birthday gifts and stocking stuffers. I love that it leads off with "It Takes Two to Tango"- it immediatly lifts my spirits!

4.0 out of 5 stars Something Missing?, July 27, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Cocktail Hour: Pearl Bailey (Audio CD)
I thought I was crazy until I read another review of this CD set who discovered that Track 3 of Disc 2 is actually sung by Nanette Fabray. What gives? The Pearlie Mae stuff is great, but I will hesitate before I buy another in this series if I'm likely to find surprises like that!!!
