I loved this mixing glass. But two weeks into using it, I used it and, as expected, it got very cold. I put it in the sink to wash it, and ran semi-hot water into it. the bottom snapped off cleanly with a single crack. You'd think a vessel designed to make things very cold would be durable enough to withstand washing-temperature water. Very frustrated and disappointed.

Both of them broke with-in 2 weeks. The bottoms just fail off, no joke.
I actually need to return them when I get a chance.

If you want to add a little style to your cocktail making this is what you need. I have used it for both Manhattans and Old Fashioneds and it is a joy to use. The glass is thick and weighty with the overall top diameter the perfect size to fit a hawthorn strainer.

This mixing glass has good thick sides which protect it from your hot little hands as you mix a drink, and its got a great design. Be advised, this glass is the seamed version, which means it is taken from a mold and not blown. It has a fine seam down the side which is invisible in the photos. Cocktail Kingdom also carries a seamless version which is a bit more expensive, but wasn't worth it to me to pay the extra. Another small problem is the pouring spout is a little deep for a hawthorne strainer to effectively cover, so I've taken to just pouring off the side of the glass rather than using the spout.

This is the perfect size for mixing drinks when you want them "stirred, not shaken". The cocktails don't get cloudy and you can easily mix a batch of 3-4 drinks if needed. The cut glass is very attractive, but I only gave it 4 stars because I really think it is a little more expensive than it need be.

This thick, heavy, and sturdy cocktail glass is an essential tool in the bar. I bought mine for our home bar where we often make cocktails in 1, 2, or 3 service quantities at a time. This glass can comfortably handle two 3-4 oz cocktails and plenty of ice with ease. It can also stir three at a time with just a little care.

The Yarai pattern on this seamed glass is beautiful and looks even better with crystal clear Martinis being silently stirred or the deep golden color of an Old Fashioned being prepared. It looks gorgeous in use or waiting on the table.

I've decided it's too good (and a bit of a cost) to risk in the dishwasher but with our home-use handwashing is just fine. Just give a little time between cleaning and service to avoid thermal shock - thick glass cracks easier.

The pour-spout is just right - no dribble in a slow or fast pour-out using Hawthorne or Julep strainer. That's a big deal!

Very glad we have it in our home bar.

This mixing glass was great -- looked good, felt good and was fun to use... 'til it broke. Turns out it was one of a bad batch that broke near the bottom of the glass. I contacted Cocktail Kingdom and they replaced this mixing glass without delay -- couldn't be more happy with the replacement and the super hero customer service of Cocktail Kingdom. I'm sad this mixing glass did not last but I couldn't be more pleased with Cocktail Kingdom's response and resolution for the problem.

Whoever makes this product...your product is terrible!!! The only thing that is nice about this product is it looks nice. I spent $38 each on 4 Yarai. After tax it was about $165. I am a craft bartender and just need these things to work and the do...for about 3 weeks. Two broke on the same night. Not worth it. Do not waste your time.
