When "Smarts" rimes with "Heart", you get a contemporary literary treatment of a contemporary heartbreaking and heart lifting story. An instructive play -- funny at times-- telling the story of a stubborn woman, a scientist, who stood the fight and succeeded in manufacturing AIDS medication at an affordable price for people in Thailand and Africa, people who can not afford drugs produced by the world's leading drug manufacturers.
A very inspiring story told magnificently.

I just finished reading Cocktail, and I am blown away. It was inspiring,
funny, sometimes chilling, much more intimate than I was expecting...I
loved it. Kraisintu's energy and optimism really come through. I
especially liked the scenes with her grandmother and in the Congo. Parts
of it read like a suspense novel, but the play is ultimately a story of social justice and personal courage.
