Editorial Reviews

Review

“Even if you’ve never had the urge to slurp a double daiquiri, a favorite of Ernest Hemingway, or a Bloody Mary, the preferred tipple of John Jacob Astor . . . Cocktails is a fun, fascinating read that goes down easy.”

This is a great, basic, concise introduction to cocktails. I would have liked more detail about the history of cocktails and different cocktails. It seemed really short in the eBook version like you could put it in a 50-page book. Lots of stuff I didn't know.

I have always been facinated by the history of drinks and this book serves as a difinitive history of spirits and drinks. You'll been fascinated and surprised by some of the things you'll learn. A must read for any serious mixologist.

This is a fun and fascinating history of the cocktail - from the early punches to today's top favorites.
You're bound to learn a lot and have tales to tell at your next cocktail party.
