5.0 out of 5 stars too fabulous for words, September 30, 2008
This book is so pretty and Coco is just divine. It makes me want to drape pearls around my neck. I bought it for my mother and it made a nice gift bc it is a rather fancy book for the price...and it's COCO! Also, my mom likes photography, so she appreciated that the photos were by Douglas Kirkland

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful ..., October 15, 2008

Just beautiful. I felt the writer was speaking to me. Love the intimate photographs of Coco's apartment, they are probably the best photo's of the apartment I've seen, probably because they are candid. A really lovely book, I read it with a glass of champagne in hand and thoroughly enjoyed the moments.

I absolutely adore this book! It's like stepping back in time and entering the Mademoiselle's world. Thank you, Mr. Kirkland.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not a good read
This book was a waste of money. Photo's very redundant and commentary quite sparse at best.

A very interesting look behind the scenes at Chanel. Not as much text as I would like, but very interesting to see her at work. Read more
