...but I have to admit to some mixed feelings. Don't get me wrong; it's a great album, and one that makes us feel good...some singers uplift, some depress, and some merely inspire respect...any of those can get five stars, but I prefer to be happy, and Colbie can always supply that. She makes us feel good even when she has to touch feel bad subjects like "Midnight Bottle". What's more, she not only has a sexy voice, but you can actually understand the lyrics...You Go, Girl!!

As to specifics...the first 12 cuts need no comment...we've heard them for the past year...they've built Colbie's fan following, and they're great. The final 8 tracks give us some welcome new material, and, though she didn't write it all herself, it has a bit more of a personal touch, with Colbie's heart a bit more exposed [though nothing even approaching Carly Simon's heart-on sleeve]. Listen to #13 "Tell Him" and the following "Brand New Me"--she's opening herself just a bit, and her music rocks [just a touch] harder than the previous offering. "Somethin' Special", made for the Olympics, is indeed. Bob Marley's "Turn Your Lights Down Low" is a live performance, and it quite well done..I don't care for much of Marley's work, but I like this. The record closes with alternative versions of "Magic" and the BIG HIT "Bubbly"...I really like what she did with "Magic", but will confess to a preference for the original on "Bubbly". "Tell Him", and the Marley number are listed as "live", but no obtrusive audience noise. Thank you.

Colbie is pretty girl with a fine voice; she's still a work in progress, still spreading her wings ["Hoy Me Voy" and "Turn..."]. She should only get better. Beautifully presented album...great pictures...great sound and instrumental support. Five Stars. OK. What's the gripe I mentioned above? Premium price record. Twenty cuts. Twelve of them every one of her fans have had for a year. Two are remixes. That leaves us essentially paying for six cuts...great songs they are, But. I don't mind, but I can see how somebody else might.

Colbie, I love you. You're wonderful. "Coco" is a fine album. Twice. Please give us a whole recording of new material.

Discovered Colbie by accident while surfing the local radio dial and heard her new song 'Falling for You' and could not get enough of it. When I ordered her BREAKTHROUGH (Deluxe Edition) and COCO (Deluxe Edition) I didn't know what to expect. BREAKTHROUGH is pretty good...COCO to me is brilliant!! Not to compare her with anyone (she is a style of her own) but she reminded me a lot of Diana Krall on Monster drink. Colbie has got to be one of the better singer/songwriters of this generation. How could BREAKTHROUGH not top COCO is beyond me. Don't think about getting the standard edition of this masterpiece. Get this deluxe edition before it is too late and kick back and enjoy the smoothness of this AWESOME artist. Don't normally write reviews for CDs, usually reviewing movies...but Colbie Caillat is one to make me hear things differently. Looking forward to seeing her in concert. You cannot put into words the emotion she spreads to this man's heart. Am I in heaven. or what? Enjoy this masterpiece, it's 75 minutes of heavenly beauty!!

I listen to her every day. I love the sound of her voice and this album has such wonderful songs on it!

It's not easy to find really excellent singer/songwriter, but in Colbie Caillat the talent has been found as she's an amazing artist. The arrangements are kept simple and the words flow smoothly. Sometimes Colbie's voice reminds us of Carly Simon and the songs of California sunshine, ... then at other times there's a shot of reggae rhythms mixed into the arrangements which just lure the listener to the beach and relax. In a few words "Coco" is an excellent CD and Colbie is one of the new great artists of our time. Get the Deluxe Edition as it has a number of additional songs on it and it's just a joy to listen to each song over and over again.

Colbie Caillat sounds very stylish and sexy in the song "Bubbly" and looks very stylish and sexy in the video for the song. Colbie Caillat is just plain smooth.

Always upbeat and uplifting, this is a fun one to listen to any time. The extra cuts are worth getting the deluxe edition, though I can't say I'd buy 4 of them as another reviewer did. Nonetheless, highly recommended.

What an absolutely beautiful voice! Anyone who loves music has got to get this. Both my daughter & I agree, this is a must have!

I love this CD. She has such a beautiful voice and it's very unique. I didn't realize I knew so many of the songs on this CD until I purchased it.

What a wonderful mix of light, breezy tunes. This album and Colbie's music is new to me and is a wonderful change from the crap I hear on the radio. This album is fun and a delightful pick-me-up on dreary winter days.
