This makes some really tasty pina coladas. However, don't be an idiot like me and turn this upside down and then shake it to "pour" some out. It was like a ghost from ghostbusters erupted all over my kitchen. Took FOREVER to clean up. I highly recommend scooping now, which most of you would probably do anyway :)

This product taste great but I recently found it at walmart for much cheaper then Amazon prices. Also I saw they had a light version with less calories (have not tried that version yet but will soon)

I could not find this product locally without driving some distance to a liquor supermart store. I must have called a dozen or more liquour stores ar where I live trying to find this product but many didn't even know what it was. I was delighted that my good ole reliable Amazon carried this product. I use it when I make a family favorite coconut cake. My only problem with it, hence the four stars, is the product kind of separates in the can and forms this really thick, globby stuff. I try to remember to shake the can really hard before opening; even then it doesn't completely mix together. It still seems to work for the recipe though.

Coco Lopez is by far the best cream of coconut. If you like Pina Coladas, there is nothing better. Great for coconut flan and protein shakes too!

Coco Lopez is OK, but Coco Casa is much better. Unfortunately Coco Casa is harder to find so when I run out I often have to resort to Coco Lopez. Everyone notices the differences, whether told in advance or not.

We'd never heard of Coco López until watching a relatively new PBS cooking show called "A Chef's Life." Although we learned it's an ingredient for the "original/official" Piña Colada, Chef Vivian was using it in a cake. The can says "cream of coconut" and that's perfectly descriptive -- almost like heavy cream, particularly if the milk and cream parts separate. For our first try we didn't have Piña Coladas or make a cake, we simply mixed some Coco López straight out of the can with sparkling water, stirred (there was lots of foaming up) and drank it. Very good.

Came it time and love this drink for my original coconut drink which is COCITO.. The brand I think is better then the others it does give a different taste more flavor and as if it was coming from a coconut.
