Book Description

For Coco Pinchard forty is the new thirty. After a tumultuous divorce, she's found love with the gorgeous, hunky, four-years-younger-than-her-so-technically-a-toy-boy, Adam. Her career as an author is finally a success, and she has fabulous friends in Chris, a neurotic middle-aged socialite, and Marika, a slightly alcoholic dog walker.

Coco is even learning to cope with awful ex mother-in-law, Ethel, who despite the divorce, still thinks it's fine to criticise, especially when Coco and Adam decide to move in together...

But hours before move-in day, Adam ends their relationship without explanation and disappears. After the initial shock and anger (and an 'I told you so' from Ethel) Coco sets out to discover what has really happened.

Full of hilarious twists and turns, Coco Pinchard's Big Fat Tipsy Wedding is a witty, heart-warming, romantic comedy - the highly anticipated stand-alone sequel to bestselling, The Not So Secret Emails of Coco Pinchard.

Editorial Reviews

Review

"A big fat wonderful book! I could hardly stop reading. The character Coco is so realistic and easy to relate to. She is caught in embarrassing moments that made me cringe with empathetic embarrassment for her and laugh out loud!" (MissAdventure, Amazon Reader)

"I began my day with Coco and a cup of coffee, and ended it with a glass of wine... ok, fine, a bottle! A roller coaster of ride with a satisfying ending. As usual, the supporting characters are just as much fun as the main ones." (Amazon Reader)

"This book has EVERYTHING! It's a love story, it's a mystery, it's a comedy." (Midnight_Moody, Amazon Reader)

4.0 out of 5 stars Another Fun adventure with Coco June 26, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
In some ways, I found this one funnier than the first. It's great to discover new authors who can make you chuckle. One thing that I realized is that I enjoyed the lack of violence and egregious dysfunction; these characters have just the right amount of wackiness.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must read June 26, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This book was so good I could not put it down. Different from the first book but still worth the read. Coco goes thru a lot before her happy ending but never gives up hope. I really enjoyed this book. All the characters from her son to her mother in law were easy to like.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great read. June 25, 2013

I was super happy that Mr. Bryndza decided to write a sequel. I just adore Coco Pinchard and her friends. This book was a bit different from the first one because it wasn't as funny but I loved it anyways. Like the previous book things don't always go according to plan for poor Coco but she has great family and friends to help her through it. I even liked nan in this book. Frankly I'm bad with reviews but I loved this book and I recommend it.

4.0 out of 5 stars fun, funny read July 10, 2013

A great second outing with Coco and her wonderful family and friends. Hilarious and touching this is a fun romp made even more delightful by the author's rapier wit. Very British in the best possible way !

2.0 out of 5 stars Couldn't get past the format of writing November 18, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I hate to give anyone a poor rating, but I just could not get into this book. The format of the book is basically reading emails between people, and I have a hard time following the story through that kind of format. If that doesn't bother you, you might like this book.

3.0 out of 5 stars Some funny parts, but... October 25, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
The book had its moments. There were funny parts, but it just never seemed to click. It's written more or less as a series of e-mails that attempt to describe what's happening in the main character's life, but it just doesn't ever seem to come together. I've read other books written in diary form that I felt gave an excellent insight into the character, and enjoyed those, so maybe the format just didn't do it for me. Three stars because while I really didn't like the book, the format could have been the problem.

5.0 out of 5 stars More Fun with Coco August 24, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Robert Bryndza is an outstandingly funny author. I love his work. Mother-in-law Ethel deserves her own book. Ethel seems so realistic...even when falling 5 stories on Christmas Eve...and surviving. This book is a tad more serious than the first in the series but just as enjoyable. Laughing out loud on every page per usual. Laurie Norton

4.0 out of 5 stars A fun, light read
A fun, light read. Coco's "emails" may not be realistic as such, but provide a readable narrative. Looking forward to catching up on the other books in the series.

Great to see a character come into their own after tough times and be happy in the end. Love the family and friends and of course the puppy.
